So we shouldn't expect our top tier teams in the Belt to be competitive versus ranked opponents ? Close only counts in horseshoes , i don't like to play the woulda coulda game. If that's the case we just might be bowling this year SunBelt is garbage , simple as that. 10 years and we still haven't seen a team ranked and we average 1 bowl game win every 2 years for the conference

We are considered the lowest conference because how the league has performed on the field. After 10 years we are struggling just to get teams to 6 wins.

Something that really bothered me at the game. Only down by 5 late in the 4th quarter and ULM driving. Phillips gets hurt and is down on the field for several minutes. During that whole time not 1...not 1 single DEF coach went out on the field to talk to the unit to discuss what they were going to do. Not 1 DEF coach. Players just walked around , didn't huddle up , nothing. We deserved to lose that game. Some reason we once again started a CB who seems to get burnt more times than a loaf a bread. I don't understand it . Once again he gets taken out after giving up a big play. For some reason he freezes when a ball is in the air and every time he is in teams pick on him. I just don't get the things that DeLoach has done this season , it's like he made up his mind once he packed up his office and gave up on the season. What makes it even worse , ULM's stud DB Nate Brown , from Burk wanted to come to UNT , but never got offered a ship O well , I'm done for this season and will not dwell on it anymore. Next saturday , Texas St !! GMG !!

all the more reason to either join the WAC now that Hawaii is gone or invite NMSU & La Tech back in. SunBelt is garbage all the way around

Hey let's face it , we aren't going to beat out any of the major conferences with quality so let's do it with quanity.

Invite Texas State & UTSA and kill the WAC. Then La Tech / NMSU would have no choice but to join the Belt

Thanks for posting , in the rivals inside interview Knight said he would like to continue the series with UNT. That would be a kickass yearly matchup to have... I'll be rooting for Tech even harder now hoping that Knight sticks around.

If no SunBelt teams get to 6 wins , which is possible , then we should bolt. Sunbelt would be the biggest embarrassment in the history of college football. The league is not going to automatically have a better image than the WAC just because they added teams who have never been DI before. Want respect , gotta earn it. Even after Boise leaves , people will still view the WAC as a better conference. Drop Hawaii and I'll jump on the WAC board A sea of red negatives in 3,2,....

Agree with everything CBL . I just hope we don't rush the court when we spank the awful Tigers next year , unless they have our coach. Then we rush it and tell that quitter to suck it !!!

I find it both sad and comical that grown men on a message board chastise a young man who decided to take his life in a different direction. Not one person on here knows the whole story and from what I've heard from other players he had good reason to go. Some of you fans quit on Todd Dodge , what makes you so special ? Have you ever quit a job , broke up with a girlfriend ? Does that make you a quitter too ?Sometimes things just don't work out in life. So a kid doesn't play anymore for your favorite college football team and your mad. Bottom line is you think you know what was best for someone you didn't even know.
