The SunBelt won't be around too much longer. Once superconferences form we will probably be on the outside looking in unless MWC/C-USA gets raided and we somehow get in. Some act like it would be a shoe in , but the likes of La Tech,Troy,WKU,UTSA all have a shot. If the Belt is raided it will not be able to survive unless it does somekind of merger w / the MAC or WAC. While every other conference commish sees this and is being proactive , our commish has done nothing. He pretty much retired a long time ago. Say what you want about Benson , but the man sees what is about to happen. Only way to survive is to get as many teams as you can into your conference. The days of 10 to 12 teams per conference will soon be a thing of the past. Take Seattle out and I'm all in for the WAC. It's bound to eventually happen unless the new MWC/CUSA gives us a look see.

Saying someone will not play in the NFL is not being negative. Royce is a great player. Several great players have suited up in the Green & White and never made it to the league. My being negative was towards the TS who doesn't seem to know the difference b/w a good college player and one who plays on Sundays. If he somehow makes it , I'll be the 1st to eat crow. I'll be the 1st to buy his NFL jersey. I'll scream from a mountain top that I was wrong Being negative would be more like starting a thread about getting a kid off the field because he doesn't deserve to be out there . Or starting a thread that assumes a kid is only on the field because of his dad's relationship with the coach . Now that's what I would call being negative

Until we can prove we can play well on the road , we will not get any respect from Vegas. I think we finish 5 - 1 @ home so any road game we can get would be HUGE !

I was able to spin the Tulsa game into a family trip so I probably used the 1 I had for the year. Wife will be out of town so driving w/ a 3 year old is kinda out of the picture. A drop off to grandma's house & a quick flight was about my only option. My hope is we win this game and I make the trip to Arkie State
