Rice is about the worst example you can use in college football. They didn't even bring 100 to fouts I'm sure if we played MTSU today there would be less than 5K at Apogee

And that's the same reason we probably won't move up in conference. Tulsa,UTEP,Rice want nothing to do with us just like we want nothing to do w/ UTSA or TX State. If we are going to be stuck in a horrible conference , I'd rather it be with teams that I can make road trips to. UTSA,La Tech & TX State vs the smelly town of Monroe. It's all about me :thumbsu:

I wasn't disputing the fact that he is a safety, but to say he's only going to play safety is nonsense. He will be our most talented DB on the roster. Injuries could happen and if he needed to play CB he would slide right in there to do that. Looking at it right now we seem to have a little more depth at Safety than we do CB so if someone goes down he could make the change easier than anyone else I like Wright better at safety than I do LB.

Really doubt it's South Bama since we already have Texas Southern on the slate. We can only count 1 FCS victory towards a bowl bid. I don't understand how people don't want to have anything to do w/ UTSA and/or Texas State on here because they are FCS for the time being , but we are going to be stuck shortly w/ South Bama who is in the same boat. If we are going to be stuck w/ FCS schools wouldn't you rather it be with teams in Texas other than 1 from Mobile,AL ?

If we want to start a winning program/tradition around here I think the 1st step is to stop scheduling the alabama & lsu's of the world. I don't think we are hurting for $$ that bad

I would think so. I hope LSU has to do the same w/ a&m aboard. If so a lot of SEC teams will have to drop a game

And 4 -2 v CUSA teams this year. We have the only 2 lossses and it was against their top 2 teams

And we've had DEs playing DT. He's talented enough to play either position here. If he plays safety , he will be our best safety. If he plays CB, he will be our best CB.. Hell, he might even be our best WR on the roster next year

I didn't make this game , but I'm wondering if maybe this team is " coasting " until T Mitch joins them ? I know it's only a few games , maybe I'm just thinking outloud and upset Just a thought
