I take it back , i'd rather be the 5 seed & face Denver in the 2nd round. They have never played well @ Hot Springs. They have nobody who can even remotely guard TM. They also aren't a physical team so TM in foul trouble is less likely. You just have to hope they dont get hot from the outside.

I think I'd rather be the 6 seed . We get by Troy & face a team that has to beat us for the 3rd time in ULL. I don't care who it is , it's hard to beat someone 3 times in 1 season. Make it the final 4 & anything can happen. I also think whoever has mtsu has a mental edge. They already will have the NIT bid & so may feel less pressure. When is the last time a regular season champ went on to win the Tournament ?

Would of helped he played on special teams. Sorry , but RBs are a dime a dozen. Unless your one of top RBs you will have to earn your way in the NFL on ST.

Agree . It's only going to get tougher and tougher to land top talent here. We can make fun of smu all we want but they will make a splash hire & be moving to the big east soon. Big XII basketball has some of the best players in country & although tcu will struggle , they will start to get talented players who want to play in that conference. UTA has a damn good coach & new kick ass venue to help lure kids in. I really don't see how we've been able to hold on to coach Forrest for so long, he's done a kick ass job. We need to make a move , new conference, upgraded arena. Next year could possibly be The most talented team ever @ unt & we need to take full advantage of it If not , I'm afraid we will be getting most of our talent from transfers or jucos. Not really a way to build a program

A few game notes : Even tho we played like crap, we still had a shot to win With TM , I think we still have a chance in hot springs. He is easily the best player in the league TM had a off night , might have hurt his stock. He still has trouble on the dribble around the perimeter. Also, he is very hard on himself & scouts might think he needs more self confidence Bob Marlin is the best coach in the league IMO Ran into Andre Jackson in th bathroom. Former teammate of mitchells. Belived he signed w/ south Florida ?? Most recently @ cal ST Bakersfield. I don't think he has Any eligibly left tho, I think he was there just watching Tony
