Me either, I'm just saying that it does happen. I don't think we land him unless he's willing to walk on this year. The good thing about us , we are much cheaper than SMU or TCU. However , he was close to choosing TCU out of JUCO and you know Larry Brown isn't scared to make room for him if need be.

It happens every year at bigger schools. You just see it as "player leaves for personal reasons ". In reality , a coach says to the player " you know , I just don't see any PT for you here" If there is a more talented player out there , a coach will find a way to make it happen. Example : Michael Bradley

Mag,Tasty & I made the trip to check the OFY Super 64 this weekend and check out Birt and a few others. Nothing really stood out about him other than his bright shoes. He has the look of a very legitimate DI prospect. 6'5 , pretty well built and can handle the ball. I believe it was was his very time playing with Shoytyme so I'm willing to cut him some slack. Big E's squad was pretty stacked with talent.

Means writer doesn't consider the Sunbelt a mid major. Throws conference in there with the likes of the SWAC , Great West , MEAC ,etc. Only 1 more year !

I've seen this guy play , believe me Benford would find a way to make room. Skilled enough to play play either sport anywhere he desires

Are u saying that a bunch of us old guys would kill all the excitement of these young college kids with some horribly played basketball Would be cool if would get a few alumni to come back & suit up for a scrimmage. Wouldn't mind seeing Josh White go head to head with Chris Jones or TT vs Jordan Williams

I'm remember him having a pretty good mobility for a big guy , not clumsy. I also remember looking on the court and saying " who's 6'10? " Probably closer to 6'8

Just seems ironic that you jumped downed someone's throat for calling a primarly back up player on a 2 - 8 team a " project " and then turn around and do it on someone who was good enough to make the Brazilian national team. International players play a different style of game , they aren't going to wow you with any numbers. We got a big guy who is going to play tough defense. He's from Brazil , so you know he's physical. I don't think he was brought in here to score 20 + points a game for us They could all be projects or they could all turn out to be all conference. We don't know , our coaches don't know. That's just the way recruiting go. To already say this is a wasted ship is a bit of a knee jerk
