Just looking at the past 2 signing classes , what ever happended to DQ Johnson ? I see he is on the roster , but I don't think I've seen him in a game yet. Is he hurt or just can't make the 2 deep ?

When all is said and done Jimmerson will Be talked about in the same breath as Cobbs & Dunbar as one of the best ever Not saying he will be better than either , but with this oLine he could put up some serious #'s

Let's not forget Williams only other offer has been from Montana. If he had half the offers that Brock did coming out of HS , then maybe we see him if DT were to walk away or get injured. Until then , Mac is not going to throw a true frosh out there over someone who has 20 + career starts or a JUCO who was pretty sought after. We have a run based system that relies on good D and not turning the ball over. A true frosh is a turnover machine just waiting to happen

I can't buy the young excuse On this game MTSU had 7 starters who were freshman or sophomores , as did we. Both teams started 15 junior or senior players * * this isn't counting PK/P I get what you are saying about playing on the road and having to learn how to win important games for young teams I didn't expect to beat MTSU , but also didn't expect us to look like a Todd Dodge team out there. I think that's what is most frustrating. We got blown out by a middle of the pack Sunbelt team who was without 2 of their star players

Agree I'm very happy with his committ. He's probably the QB of our future, but I'll be disappointed if he sees the field next year. We got Brock , DT & McNutly. Unless something goes terribly wrong , let him red shirt & groom him for the job in 2014

Don't really think you can put too much emphasis on last year's win vs MTSU. It was a meaningless game with no real importance in the last game of the season This game had much more riding on it Not really comparable

People love Mac because dickey & dodge didn't interact with the fans or students like Mac does To a lot of people this is new. It seems like most people have never heard a head coach speak before. Mac doesn't really say anything different than any other Coach in America People will point to the "improvement " they see. That's not saying much if u really think about it. Dodge era was one worst in the history of college football. There were 500 guys we could have thrown out there with a whistle & a playbook and seen a "improvement"
