  10. I didn't want to start a whole new thread so I just stuck it in this one. Honestly I just skimmed thru the article assuming it was about the succes of k state thru juco's. That's what I get for playing trains & tryin to post at the same time. I guess the The appropriate message w/ the link provided should have said "the good & bad of JUCO signings" Virtual fist bump
  11. Oh I know it's not a great example & im certaintley not trying to compare the 2 , just sharing the article I think Mac just needs to be more open on getting a few to help out , which it now looks he is willing too I believe he stated when he got the job that JUCOs were not a option. To me , that limits a already limited field on what types of kids we can land here
  12. Didn't catch that about Fort , hopefully it's a typo

  21. Ball State will win 7 or 8 games this year , go to a bowl & are returning every skill position player. I wouldn't count them down as a sure win by any means
  22. Pretty good list. Just lookin @ top 20 , I'd have to move Kendall Harris up a few spots tho
  23. http://www.astateredwolves.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=7200&ATCLID=205722181 Have they really beat us 7 straight years? Damn, we need to end that! Looks like thy are a pretty young team too AN A-STATE VICTORY WOULD . . . : Make it bowl eligible for the second straight year and fifth time over the last eight seasons . . . Extend its winning streak in road conference games to seven . . . Give it eight consecutive victories against North Texas . . . Give it 12 wins over its last 13 conference games . . . Extend its winning streak against teams from the state of Texas to nine. IMMEDIATE IMPACT: Arkansas State is one of 39 teams in the nation to play at least eight true freshman this season. A-State's eight true freshmen played ranks tied for the 36th most in the nation with Auburn, Clemson and Hawai'i. Three true freshmen have started at least one game for ASU, including Rocky Hayes, Bryce Giddens and Chris Humes. Additionally, A-State has played 17 combined true and redshirt freshmen this year, the 30th most in the nation. A NEW START: Arkansas State has 15 players who have started their first career game at the school this season, which ranks tied for the ninth most in the nation with 10 other teams (including North Texas).  Hawai'i leads the nation with 26 first-time starters this year. Players with their first career start at ASU this season include David Oku (RB), Rocky Hayes (RB/WR), J.D. McKissic (WR), Aaron Williams (OL), Steven Haunga (OL), Bryce Giddens (OL), Alan Wright (OL), Ronnell Wright (DL), Shervarius Jackson (DE), Chris Stone (DE), Eddie Porter (LB/DE), Andrew Tryon (CB), Artez Brown (CB), Chris Humes (S) and Cole Lorigan (S).
