This game looks to be the best shot for the Mean Green to secure an out-of-conference victory. Ball State was a bowl team in 2012, as we previously mentioned, but the Cardinals allowed just 1.6 fewer points per game than they scored. If UNT can control the ball and keep Ball States defense on the field, this helps their chances of pulling the upset. Agree. I actually think the signing of Smith secures a roster spot for Tony. Pistons are not going to spend anymore money on frontcourt players. They can pay him the bare minimum to stay under the cap. The minutes may be very limited , but just making the team is a great accomplishment. The odds to make to the NBA are astronomical. There have been hundreds , probably thousands of great college players who never suited it up in the big league

Tony will make the team. Mark it If he's traded / moves to another team , it will be Toronto. Raptors have already tried to acquire him

We got our ass handed to us by Monroe. Twice. There is no excuse for that. They played with just as many players as we did and none of which had another DI offer. I'm Giving Benford a clean slate this year & I'm going in with high expectations , but he's on a short leash with me (and probably most fans ) I see no reason why we shouldn't expect to win 20+ games I'll be there to support him & this team, but he has to produce wins this year. Another failed season & he deserves all the criticism thrown his way

I cant imagine Taylor not starting That said , I don't think it's going to really matter who starts. I think we see a lot of substitutions again , espically 1-3
