I think it might be more plausable with a smaller opponent like a UTA, SFA, or Texas State. Those teams would still draw a near, if not, a sell-out crowd in the Snake Pit, but wouldn't be risking the potential for bigger profit at the Super Pit like an OSU or Baylor. I'm really looking forward to Friday's game, but I wish it was against a serious oppenent. I'm sure those Cameron kids will find the atmosphere too distracting from their PSPs and Gameboys.

Even though we lost, I thought that game was pretty memorable. Considering how crazy it was with the lead changing on every possession and the packed stadium, how could anyone not remember?

The UNT library has a pretty extensive collection of photos, tapes and film reels. You might try talking with them. Not everything would be filed under Snake Pit or Basketball. You have to ask for items pertaining to specific people from that timeframe (coaches, players, ADs). Oh, and go talk to Bill Mercer. I know he was here before they built the Pit and I'm pretty sure he called games there too. Good luck.

Good point. I doubt the 5 or so NT fans that don't listen to the Ticket because of CM even make a dent in the Arbitron books. Now, all of the diehard Longhorn fans that hate Craig and Corby might be of more concern.

Most of the online versions out there are too poor of quality to attempt something like this. It would be best to have an original 3/4" or Beta tape to work with. Maybe if someone had an old VHS, it might be doable.

Somebody find me a good quality recording of the original and I'll take a crack at that challenge!

K-State's schedule says they're only streaming the Pre-game show and a half-time ceremony for their ring of honor.

There was no mention of this during the coach's show, nor in the game notes for this week. It does not appear that the game will be on K-State's Premium service either. Looks like I'll be listening to George and Hank on my radio.

Don't bet on HD. The trucks ESPN(+, Regional, 360, U) hires are all standard def and TXA21 wouldn't surprise me if they hired the same company that does their high school football games. I recall the image quality of those high school broadcast the last two years has been sub-par from what I'd expect to see in a top 10 market.
