  1. Woooo Hoooo!!!! 4-1!!!!!
  2. What's the common thread? These opinions were formed way too early! I believe Dodge can turn the program around. I'm sure his contract will not get an extension if we don't start performing, but I have every belief that his contract will be honored (i.e. 3 more years). If he doesn't, I have no problem giving the reigns to someone else.
  3. Let's say we have another 20 win season (three in a row) but don't win the SB Championship. How much weight will consistancy of winning count towards an NIT or CBI bid?
  4. Not sure the issue on that one... Would have been nice though, he was fun to watch.
  5. PHSCoach is right, if Joe only played in 4 games then he is still eligable to request a medical hardship. The rule says that he could not have participated in more than 3 games or 30% of contests, which ever is greater. As 3 games is only 25% of our schedule, it would fall to a 30% limitation (the greater number). 30% is 3.6 games, so per 14.2.4.3.6.2, that rounds up to 4 games. I have to admit though, it didn't make sense to me either until I did the math and read the complete reg...
  6. Maybe, but the "F-me" boots and librarian glasses are the BOMB!!!
  7. Was it really that bad JD? Sorry, just read this post and had to reply!
  8. A bunch! But they are not real partiers...
  9. Agreed. And with the way #5 was hitting nearly every three he threw up, they left him open way to often in the first half. Seemed to shut him down in the second though.
  10. I was three rows behind you and the Crazed eagles wearing the basktball jersey. Sorry you got run off, I had no problem with you guys standing. Although, all the heckling you guys got kind-of got me laughing. Great game!!!
  11. Won't be a problem if you get there a little early. Come by the Chilton Hall parking lot and I'll make you a Harvey Wallbanger.
  12. Once you got past his initial fumbling of passes, he looked ok. So yes, I think he can be better than Justin. He didn't seem to mind mixing it up under the basket. Also seemed to have more confidence and swagger than Howerton did the last two years. My gut says we need another big guy under the basket and if he can get better throughout the year, burn the shirt and get him minutes now. It's not like he's a transfer, we have him for four years and I think we'll need him up to speed sooner rather than later. Howerton stayed down for a while when he got knocked. Didn't see him move at all for a couple minutes, so I was worried that it was something serious. Finally sat him up, but he sat like that for a minute or two. Then when he finally stood up, it looked like he was about to topple over. They took him straight back to the locker room. Second half he was back out there and seemed to be fine.
  13. Thought the same thing about Know. Seemed like once he settled down, he did alright. Just couldn't get over the fumbled passes, but I'm sure he will get better. Johnson is a stud. White looked a lot better in the second half than the first, drove to the basket a lot more. Odufuwa has a good outside shot. I thought they did better in a full court press than last year. We didn't seem to turn it over or have a problem making it across mid-court (unlike last year). It wasn't pretty sometimes, but they got the job done. Looking forward to Friday!!!
  14. All I can say is MMMMMMMmmmmm to both!!!
  15. I can definately understand the frustration. I believe the reason I got it was I signed up on the meangreensports.com site to receive email updates (link below). However, I agree that a broader distribution could have been used to report this information out. http://www.nmnathletics.com/main/NewsMailS...D=1800&KEY=
  16. Last week they emailed out a brochure on the next steps for getting the stadium funded and construction started, so I wouldn't say it's gone quite. As much as we would have liked the ground broken the day after the student vote, there are some administrative steps (BOR and Tx Legislature) that have to be taken before it spends up to much.
  17. Matlock added to help our NCAA academic progress report maybe????
  18. I'm not calling for Dodge's head, nor am I blind supporter (seems now-a-days on this board those are the only two extremes). I think we have every right to be critical of the product on the field and the decisions behind it, I'm just not willing to call for a HC change just yet. Right or wrong, I believe RV will give Dodge his contract (5yrs?) to right the ship.
  19. It's been bounced around alittle about dressing up for the game in the old Pit. I'm going to try and wear either some bell-bottoms (if I can find them) or a tie-dye. I'm also thinking of tailgating the game. Parking in the Chilton parking lot. Serving some Harvey Wallbangers and Tom Collins and grilling up some chicken & beef skewers. Anyone else planning on dressing up or tailgating?
  20. I alway wondered why the Exes or the AD didn't try to involve the students more, even if it was just a t-shirt design for some home games. This is a great idea to build a sense of excitement and ownership from the students.
  21. A buddy of mine is a big WSU fan. We've consoled each other often this year. WSU has a chance to win another as they do play a winless Washington, so we're not out of the woods yet. However, with a win under our belt now I believe this team will come together and win at least one more.
  22. Called this morning. Tickets should be mailed out today or tomorrow. Cameron game in the Snake Pit is included. Can't wait for basketball to start! GO MEAN GREEN!!!
  23. We are so bad, we are no longer an FBS team?
  24. May not have been a complete waste of time if they were they hot?
