Plus I don't think Knox would pass it to a ref with 7 seconds left in the game then have to chase it to keep it from going out of bounds. 2010 Mangrum hands down! That guy is a platinum sparkplug!

Great win!!! Even though we were not shooting well in the first half, I wasn't too worried because ULL didn't pull away. Hey Rick, didn't get a chance to talk to you during the game but our kids seemed to hit it off. My family was sitting right behind you.

I hope the attendance is 5k or better. The pit begins to get loud when we start pushing 3k. But if I remember right the last time we had over 5k, OSU was in the house (~6500). ULL is no OSU, if we do better than 3500 I'll be surprised.

You can't play four games at a time! You have to focus on this next game, and it is the most important. Lose it and you can write off the season. Lose it and if you don't fire JJ and the other lame duck coaches you will severely impact recruiting and our chance at a national championship!

Look at it this way, if we get those 3 wins next season that's one more win than this season and will be a career high for Dodge!

Before the season I figured 4 wins this year and 7 in 2010 with pressure to compete for the conference title. Even though we didn't get the 4 wins this year, I'm not backing off 7 wins being the mark next year. I'm still convinced that even if we don't hit the mark next year (let's say 4 wins) Dodge will be given the 5th year of his contract. However, another 1-2 win season and I wouldn't bet against opening the stadium with a new coach.

That's what concerns me the most... they are the expected results not the exceptions...And we find a way to live up to them! I really believe Dodge will be here through his contracted 5yrs no matter the record. I think next year will be better, somehow. I have always thought Dodge was on a steep learning curve and was doing the stuff necessary to build this team to be better, and given the time this team would get the wins. However, the 2 TO's in a row is purely a coaching failure and was the straw that broke the camels back on whether I believe if Dodge can get us out of the basement.

Question, can Dodge replace Ford? Or are they too linked at the hip? It is understood that the spread is Dodge's bag, but how much control does Ford really have over the offense... Could a new spread-based offensive coordinator come in and help turn this around?

I stopped drinking the coolaide... Not that I don't hope for them to win, I'll be at the game cheering. But Army scores in every quarter, plus a couple extra and we pick up a couple touchdowns late... Army 42 UNT 21 I really hope I'm wrong!

Completely agree that just because someone is upset with the current state of the program does not make them a bandwagon fan... Completely disagree that being a fan and supporting your team through thick and thin is what's wrong with the program. Plus, I don't think anyone who is a fan of UNT is happy with losing.

Good point! Dodge brought in more season tickets and some good attendance numbers, which is in the + column in regards to money... I'm as worried as the next that if the product does not get better, the numbers (and money) will start to dry up. However, I don't see the the house that RV and Dodge (and Flyer) built not opening with Dodge at the helm, albeit his last season in a 5yr contract (if my math's right).

I don't think he is immune... When attacking RV, most appear to want to focus on only the negative aspects of T.Dodge. What about Johnny Jones, Joe Dykstra, Jim Pyrch, Sujay Lama, the stadium, and the positives (already gone into in other posts) that Dodge brought? Don't those count? I like what RV has done... I think Dodge gets his contracted 5 years. If he doesn't produce a winning season by then, I have to believe RV will make the right call whether people think he's tied at the hip to Dodge or not.

The schedule on MGS does not have it listed as being broadcast... So I doubt it will be on 21. I can't check ESPN360 from work, but you could see if it's scheduled for this weekend.

Finally got my season ticket renewal in the mail today!!! Adding 2 more seats to my family fun pack for my parents. I usually took my dad when the wife didn't want to go, but he and my mom liked it so much they wanted their own tickets this season. Come by section 103 row C for a visit!

Though this probably means very little... I was watching a DirecTV commerical for their college game day package. It made a comment about showing all these great conferences and flashed up a screen with about 8-9 names. Your typical conferences were there, SEC ACC Big 12 etc. but what I noticed was the SunBelt was listed and CUSA wasn't. Again, doesn't mean much, but I thought it was interesting.

The WKU 2 years ago was not only wet, but it sure was cold... Nothing a few beers after the game couldn't fix!
