Absolutely. They've been so jealously holding onto that undefeated season from the 70s and celebrating every year when the last unbeaten falls, this is karmic justice. Here's hoping they bookend that undefeated season with an 0-16 record this year.

What happened to Patrick? He is not listed at all in the first-half stats. Jesse Chatman has carried 10 times for 24 yards. 2.4 yards a carry against one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL.

If you feel Vizza is the real deal, then you redshirt Riley. If you believe that both Vizza and Riley are good D1 quarterbacks, you have a chance to get six years of solid QB play out of them by redshirting Riley next year. The only reason to not redshirt Riley next year is if the coaches feel that Riley will take over the starting job sometime next year or no later than his sophomore year. Otherwise you're wasting a year of his eligibility. The ideal situation is Vizza starts for four years, Riley redshirts next year, backs up as a freshman and sophomore while getting some playing time, then starts as a junior.

I think UNT wins, but I fear this game. No one wants to go winless for a season, and FIU is staring that in the face. They've got to believe they have a chance against a 2-9 opponent at home, so I wouldn't be surprised if they give a great effort.

Considering the state of SMU's program and that it has a much smaller stadium (10,000 fewer than Louisville, which is planning an upgrade to 80,000), and considering that Louisville is in a BCS conference (Big East) and has already launched one coach into the NFL, that would definitely be a move down, regardless of how much SMU will pay.
