Its already been mentioned on this board that former eagle Bryan Lucas had signed with Fayetville of the NBA's developmental league. Well he plays a significant amount of time. They have mentioned the name North Texas a time or two while he is playing. Good to see.

No doubt that is ridiculous, but this kid is the real deal. I have been reading his diary in SLAM magazine when he was starting his junior year in high school...............practicing (and hanging) with current NBA'rs is commonplace for him. He is freakishly good.

Low point in the season: Attendence for the Dec 16th game against St. Edwards. My guess is we have maybe 1000 in attendence (probably less). We are going to have to start scheduling around the N.O. Willie you said it, the cheerleaders are only cheering for themselves. They view the games as something they have to do. This is the off-season to them. They view their national championship stuff as the real season. They might come here on the board and defend themselves for a bit, but come 6 months from now they will be gone. Give me a few good cheerleaders that can pump up the crowd and I will trade in ours.

I saw them and I thought it was great!!! I really don't care what shade of green it is........just let it be green (or white). The GB is doing a great job this yr and I hope that the fan support of them shows it.

I don't think its right when they do it either. I want all things around Fouts Field (and Denton) to be solely North Texas. Is that too much to ask? Denton never does seem to know how to do anything right (as far as team support is concerned), and if anohter band uses colors that are not their schools, then they are just as bad. I do hope that new uni's and flags are bought for the guard. I am still a poor college student but someday maybe all this pharmacy stuff will pay off.

I think that Michael Degrate will take a lot of his playing time. I believe that unless he shows real improvement in practice...........it will be more of the same from Jelly
