It was me through high school as well. Then, as a student, I watched UT come to play bball at The Pit. I had the "who do I cheer for?" conversation with myself and realized what a poser I had become by cheering for a school I had zero to do with. Only one of the schools on the floor could I claim "we".

Throwing motion seems odd - but I really like his arm strength and wheels. While he has the ability to tuck and run, he appears to look downfield quite a bit.

I don't like having a puppet as an AD. RV's job could be on the line here and it seems like his supporting cast are setting him up to fail. I want RV to succeed and I want the football team to win. I just don't know that Meh-carney helps either of those goals. Hope I'm wrong.

It's like we have the answers to the test and we STILL get it wrong. I don't wonder if Canales can make a team like ours compete cause I have seen it. I don't have to wonder if he will be a great motivator or a great spokesman for the university cause I have seen it. I don't have to wonder if the players will buy into him and his system because they already have. Our team played tonight with an opponent that should have destroyed them. They didn't. Why? Coach Canales got the most out of his team and his coaching staff. We know what we have in him and it is exactly what we need. We will hire Meh-carney and what will we hope he has? Well - we will hope he is like Canales.

After all that the Dodge family has had to read on this forum I think it is great that credit is given where credit is due. Riley has proven himself to be a solid college football player. Playing in VERY unusual circumstances - he has found a way to be a key part of this turnaround. I offer my sincere kudos to Riley and I would suggest anyone else who feels the same way to speak up!
