I attended the College of Education graduation. I even noted to my fiance that there were A LOT of people putting their talons up - complete with hand motions. I would say 40% of the students did it.

If any of you do this, I will be interested in the response you get. I often hear that "UNT just won't release the logo to us" from smaller companies. I am sure that is hogwash but there are A LOT of people that say it.

Not in a million years . Fellow Tech students (who were undergrads), ask why I don't follow Tech like I do North Texas. The answer is simple: I have zero connection to Lubbock and the main campus. Pharm school is located in Amarillo. About 2 years ago, they started making sure that the health science center didn't use the double T logo - but only the health science center crest (a different logo). Due to this, I just don't have that connection that a Texas Tech undegrad would feel. This could be analagous to our current law school discussion.

As long as the grads from there think of themselves as Mean Green I am happy.

I do to. It is common to have your health care entities in a seperate school. They came along much before the jaguars were ever thought of.

Amarillo and Dallas. I am sure UT is beating their chests about UTA's new programs.

But what school is it affiliated with - UNT or UNTD?

Since this is the case than North Texas still does not have a law school as far as I am concerned. Once they have their 1000 students, they become their own university (right?). Being happy about this would be no different than UT being happy UTEP got a law school. Hope I am wrong.

With the right amount of promotion - we could nearly equal SMU's number of fans at their own place. Yes, I realize that this type of promotion doesn't immediately put money in our AD's pockets, but it would make a big statement.
