Curious about the O-Line comments. I'm not as familiar with the o-line personnel, so can anybody explain to me why we should be better? Who were we missing last year that we have back? Or is it JUCOs that are expected to come in immediately and help?

Loved Silo on 7th, but it was a little too far for this South Austinite to travel to. Over the years I heard nothing but good things though. Sad to see it go. Hope the alum who owned it decides to open something similar down South where rent is less expensive.

Call me crazy, but this years team has all the pieces to be similar to the 2011 team. On paper our defense looks like it could be stout, which could make up for any lack of production on the offensive side of the ball.

Interesting. Is there even enough room in the corners? There's a small video board in one corner now, but may look out of place if it was any bigger.

I'm just tired of everything we do being half-assed. Take a look at the new basketball practice facility upgrades. We basically changed a few light bulbs to green and plastered a cheap banner with Ernie Kuehne's face on it (not to mentioned the creepy glowing eyes). I made better aesthetic upgrades to my 1997 Honda Civic in high school. #ungood

I don't not mean to parlay this discussion into a donor issue, but luxuries such as these comes down to donations. I've stated several times that I'm willing to give to the athletic dept. but I live out of town (like many others) and just don't get anything out of the current membership levels. Wren and team need to create a level for out of towners that gives them access to rewards that cater towards people who can't make it to every game. I'm literally telling the athletic dept how to take my money....

Can't wait to watch Houston tank under Applebees.

I wish our marketing dept. would do something. It's been so quiet (outside of twitter graphics) this off season in regards to football. Tease the new uniforms or something. Give recruits something to follow us for.

I hate losing recruiting battles just as much as the next guy, but I'm more concerned with wins and losses. If we develop talent better and win more then I could care less about recruiting. Perfect example is the Dodge era. We recruited some of the best players during that time but couldn't win to save our lives. Prove them wrong Coach Littrell.

I don't think he's making this statement based on knowing Gage personally. I think this statement is based of his inability to be a man of his word.
