Maybe so, but my thoughts on this is that we're starting to see who are gamers and who aren't. Maybe Barr showed up in practice, but didn't cut it during real games. Darden is a gamer and has ice in his veins. We need that chip on their shoulder type of mentality out there when it counts.

A damn thing about attendance being bad again. This is exactly why. My notes from the game. 1. Piss poor play and execution in all 3 phases. 2. Second game this season with a botched punt. Wtf?! 3. How did we not gameplan for Sutton. 4. Outcoached 5. Stupid penalties from frustration. (Brandon Garner) 6. Too much trash talk from defense after getting torched the whole night. 7. Darden should be fielding all kick-offs and punts. 8. Offense showed flashes of greatness. Fine has gotten a lot better on the deep ball. 9. Ref made a really bad call on the Fluesche INT at a pivotal time in the game. 10. The defense started showing signs of giving up, but offense wouldn't let them. Conclusion: we have to quickly put this loss behind us, but this was a huge missed opportunity. The only way this season can be viewed as a success is if we get 6+ wins. A good game against Iowa would also help.
