I think paying players is the main priority for the P5 at this point. As I have been thinking about it today, I'm not really sure much will change. So what if they offer an extra $5k per year to a player. Is that money really enough to ride the bench for their career? Probably not. Student athletes make it out of college alive and well all the time. I don't think a few thousand dollars is going to separate the have and have-nots as much as we think it will. At least initially.

I'm getting a little tired of Laufenberg. It's blatantly obvious he doesn't Dunbar. He's probably still butt hurt that Indiana lost to us. Can't wait for it to happen again this year.

I say we give them what they want. Boycott scheduling them anymore. Let them beat each other up, then we will see how the Texas Tech's, Baylors, TCU's, etc. like their decisions. I bet they change their mind pretty damn quick when they go 3-10 every year.

I hope we pound UT into the ground! I want to see the UT fanbase lose their minds! If we win, we should make a big stink about why we should have to split the revenue with teams that lose to us.

I think this is where the "additional revenue" to pay student athletes is going to come from. Our alcoholism is student-athletes' gain. So remember that during the season....every beer you drink is helping a child through school.
