I think us hardcore fans need to realize that it's going to take time to correct our attendance issue. One winning season isn't going to do it. We have to change the culture at the university and it's going to start with the current students. Most alumni are completely disengaged from the school because of how horrible we've been in the recent past.

Poor SMU. I honestly kind of feel bad for them. This is probably the first time that throwing money at something hasn't worked for them.

My observations: 1. Why did the tailgate event that the AD out on run out of beer within 30 minutes? 2. Why didn't the AD bring gear to sell? It was a great opportunity to sell to alumni who don't live in north texas. 3. We had more fans than I initially expected. It was nice to see that many fans and alumni turn out.

I think our defense will do good, but we had some tackling issues last night that we need to fix.

He's extremely quick though. If he figures out how to pass then next weeks game could be scary.

I've been watching but I think he's been down on almost all the plays.
