Ncaa's first co head coaches?

Should we fund another banner to be flown over the last game saying we want miles?

I'm really wondering if the coach that Vito said wasn't named in he FOI request is our new head coach. And maybe we are not releasing it until the ink is dry and the school he's coming from seasons over.

It makes no sense not to connect this to the university/Apogee, but in true Denton fashion, they don't want to show any type of support for the University.

I understand your point of view and it makes sense, but to say this incident is a good thing is being a little too naive. Yes, we were mentioned in the same breath as the big boys, but him saying "I'm absolutely not a candidate" isn't exactly a glowing review of North Texas.

I think we just ruined the potential of hiring him. I'm sure he's pissed and probably wants to have nothing to do with us now.

I won't pretend I know everything about the coaching world, so I'm hoping some of you can shine some light on the Willie Fritz obsession on this board. I get that he's had some success at other levels of college football, but how is he our #1 option? If he was so amazing, wouldn't he have already been hired by a P5 program? The guy is 55 years old, so he's not new to coaching, but we're acting like he's the next big thing.

An old buddy of mine actually played for Mangino at Kansas during their Orange Bowl year and he couldn't stand him. He was a great athlete and made great plays but rarely saw the field because Mangino was so stubborn.

Jordan Case as AD? Are you kidding?! Nothing against him but this board bashes RV because he owned a few pizza chains, yet you think bringing in a guy who runs a car dealership will do better. I'm putting this board on 5150 psychiatric hold.

I'm sure this was mentioned somewhere on GMG.com already, but yesterday during the pregame show, Barnett interviewed Canales and he mentioned that he and Damarcus had a screaming match recently. Not sure what exactly what was said but it seemed to get pretty heated. Fortunately they were able to hug it out and move forward, but it definitely proves that there may be some disagreements between Damarcus and the coaching staff. I'm sure Damarcus has done a lot of growing up over the last few years, but I hope he understands the opportunity he has in front of him and that this is his team. It's time to be a leader on AND OFF the field.

Cosh is the worst college coach I've ever seen. How he's made it this far is a miracle.
