I'll have to agree on this one. I was enraged by the last month of DD's tenure but this eases the pain a bit. It is nice to know that the man still has a heart.

It is strange how all night long I could vote 2 or 3 times without their vote changing, and then it would jump by 6-8 votes or more. Either there is lag in showing that school's votes overnight or there is some votes going on again.

I wish they could just take the top 2 teams in each conference and maybe a wild card or two and let them decide it, instead of the voters.

I want to know from you guys that have been around awhile what the speculation and reaction was prior to and after the DD hiring? Did we have some appealing candidates or was it slim pickens? Were you happy, intrigued, or appalled at the appointment of DD? I'd just like to look at a little history as perhaps some insight to the future.

Please tell me where Berry has been successful as a head coach in D-1A? From what I've read he was good in I-AA and didn't accomplish as much as his predecessor or successor while at Army. He was also fired after an 0-13 season and the reason why Harold Etheridge has been coaching at NT for the past 3 seasons. Jimbo could be a really good hire, but Berry, no thank you.

In the Mythical BCS yes but in my mind I think they have to win by more than 3 to offset the home field advantage OSU had on Michigan.

I like Boise State too, they haven't done anything that should keep them out of the title game except scheduling. Personally I hope they put a hurtin on O-Who.

You make some very good points but in my mind the National Championship was played on 11/18 and Ohio State had home field advantage. I will continue to think this way until Florida proves me wrong. That means beating Ohio State by at least 6.

Well last year was pretty close though. Texas and USC were the best 2 teams in most people's minds.
