  1. At some point Billy Gillespie syndrome sets in.
  2. My job is stressful and I don't make anywhere near 6 figures.
  3. That would sweet. About the same enrollment in two major metropolitan areas of Texas. I think it'd be great!
  4. *cough* Craig "Junior" Miller *cough*
  5. What if his name was God Ditka?
  6. You'll have to forgive Dodge2007, there are times when he believes he is running the program.
  7. Cr1028

    Wow

Haha, whoa, that was below the belt.
  8. This is for the first 1000 UNT students and the tickets are available for purchase at the North Texas ticket office. They are on sale now, you must show your student ID and you are allowed 2 tickets per ID.
  9. Very true. This is why the "switch Woody to another position" chatter just doesn't make sense. Let the man go through fall practices and compete. If Todd Dodge then thinks that Woody should be a wideout, then so be it, but I doubt he cares for Dodge2007 or anyone elses input for that matter. Let's leave the coachig to the coaches, how about it?
  10. Pass it on. Lets make a big showing!
  11. Yes, but Woody never punched Roger Staubach either. Also, if you'll look at the season stats, Woody had the most completions, most passing yards, highect completion percentage, and the highest pass efficiency. I'll give you that he also had the most picks. Unless anyone on this board signs their paycheck as Todd Dodge then they can't say this player should move here or that player should move there. Tune is 6'3" maybe we should make him a wideout. Phillips is 224lbs, maybe we should make him a linebacker. Let the position changes die until Dodge gives us some real info.
  12. I agree with Emmitt on Woody being elusive. Also, two questons: Who was the last qb before Woody to throw a touchdown pass against the Longhorns or any top 25 team? Who was the last qb to have his name chanted after beating our rivals? I'll agree that we don't know if Meager or Woody should start yet but I won't agree that Phillips or Tune is a better quarterback for this system than Woody. Phillips is a pure pocket passer and Tune is from a ground and pound scheme.
  13. Oh, I"m sorry. I didn't realize Ford resigned and made you Offensive Coordinator. I guess Mr. Meager just can't stand the fact that Woody is faster.
  14. Some non-football athletes have told me he has a big time ego.
  15. Was Broderick McGrew any good?
  16. Me too. He just has the most versatility of the bunch.
  17. I agree.
  18. I just don't know if Woody would play any position other than qb. That is the sole reason he chose us over the SEC, he didn't want to play secondary, he wanted to be the qb. If he can't, maybe he goes I-AA and plays qb elsewhere.
  19. I don't know if this has been posted yet or not but I thought it was pretty neat.
  20. http://www.caillouxfoundation.org/grant_guidelines.htm This was the best information I could find out. It seems they are connected with the HS Foundation. It appears to me that we meet the tax qualifications, we just need a senior member of this board to send them a professional looking proposal. Naming Rights? Also found this: Harold Simmons Foundation 5430 Lyndon B Johnson Fwy Dallas, TX 75240 Phone: (972) 233-2134 You never know until you ask. He could be to us what T. Boone is to Okie State. With the new coach and exploding interest in our program, now is the time to seek a philanthropist like Mr. Simmons. I would do this myself but do not yet have the professional writing, speaking, and selling skills that some of you have attained. I hope we can get this ball rolling. Please?
  21. While this would be amazing and is definately worth at least an e-mail, I see 2 things that might work against us here:
  22. Johnny Quinn because anyone who can become the school's all-time leading receiver in that run-happy offense has got to get my vote. Johnny would have had 1000yd all four years in Dodge's system.
  23. Wow, thats like the opposite of Dickeyball.
