I saw you guys from afar in your Burruss' jerseys at the game. I have your son in one of my classes and he is a class act.

I agree with Lonnie Finch. When don't have scout team players even close to this caliber of athlete. This was great preparation for future games. Dodge and Stoops woiuld have been doing each other a disservice by just qutting. Stoops didn't do anything over the top to inflate the score. Anyone who was at the game knows that they could've easily hung 100+ on us. They were running very vanilla plays towards the end of the game. If nobody stops you while you're running the football are you just supposed to sit down like Mike Tyson?

I thought the OU fans overall were nice. Of course there were those that said "North Texas sux". And those that said "Mean Green, that's pathetic" It was really nice that one OU female fan told us to have a safe trip home. The fans were very cordial. The only complaint about our fans was the jackass who kept yelling Boise State. What the hell is that? Oh yea, we can't beat you so I'll bring up some school that I've never been to and rub that in your face. That type of stuff is childish and gives the rest of the Mean Green Nation a bad name. When we can beat them or come close, talk your noise. Until then, shut your trap.

My opinion will be unpopular but that is why it is my opinion and not yours. I think the only knocks on Evyn are size and top end speed. He is very quick. From what I saw, the only times he got torched were when Malcolm Kelly's top speed was just faster due to the longer legs. I don't think he got outplayed as much as outsized. On the shorter routes, he was right on top of the receivers, they just had the size and strength to make the catch anyway. He did bring them down immediately. I know he got juked out of his jock by Malcolm Kelly on the play after the out of bounds catch but other than that, the only thing I can knock is the OU receivers were just bigger, stronger, and faster than he was.

Were we watching the same game? I thought Micah looked like a hard-nosed runner out there. As true freshman, he and Vizza both tried to run over OU LBs and DBs.

I'm not disappointed in the band at all. They stayed lively the whole game through. It was damn hot out there, I had to sit down myself because I got too hot and short of breath. I will also say that my only complaint about the band at last year's UT game has been fixed. I saw not one UNT band member with an OU hat on which made me happy. Go Mean Green! Go Green Brigade!

The biggest bright spot I saw was the fun factor on offense. I understand we didn't light it up but I had more fun watching this game than I did in last years game vs UT(except for the Woody TD pass). Tackling wasn't perfect but it was better than last year's opener. The best part was still giving an effort despite the score. Dickey knows the outcome before the game and just pounds J-mo's (or whoever else's) head against the wall. Run the clock out and get out alive is a recipe for some boring-ass football. I'm excited about SMU!

If I were a guessing man, I'd say between 500 and 1000 if you include the band.

I strongly disagree. Aaron Weathers was one of the few bright spots we had on Saturday.
