I think his Dad wanted too much out of him and put too much pressure. If he would have spread the ball like Canales did recently, the injuries wouldn't have mounted like they did.

This was one of the positive things said about Todd Dodge in his first year on the job too. Once he got to campus, several players were positive about the different attitude he brought from Dickey.

I will go on record and say that McCarney wins over 40% of his games next year since nobody else will.

I hope he goes to Ball state or another MAC school so we don't have to pound him every year. I really like the guy and would enjoy beating him less than I would enjoy beating Shnelly or Crystal-ball.

Are you sure about this or is this just what you would have done if you were Canales? Offensive coaches usually don't give a crap about defense, look at Leach and Fran in the big 12. Their defenses were less than stellar.

Dunbar came out and said he played that hard to get Canales the job. Once Canales had the job, who is to say that the intensity could have been maintained? Don't forget we got beat pretty good by ULM just one week ago.

I understand you guys like Mike Canales because he has been kissing hands and shaking babies. I just don't see how he is "the answer" here. In his five games, we have a 2-3 record and gave up an average of 421yds and 32pts a game. I think it is time to finally make the Mean Green Defense mean again.

Crap. Sucks for Boise, they had so much pressure on them all year having to beat everyone by 30+ just to prove they belong but they just got worn out finally. I also saw something that I find very interesting. I saw a banner that said "Text 55555(or similar #) to donate $10". Why don't we do something like that? I think it would be incredibly successful to have a bunch of $10 donations rather than depending solely on MGC memberships at $125+ a pop.
