What is up with Vito lovin on Dickey's junk? He is right about one thing, Dodge didn't come close to doing what Dickey did. Dodge left with class, Dickey was a jerk. Also, I think Troy or FIU could win 26 straight in the Southland Conference.

I wonder if it had to do with Todd Dodge's desire to get "his" receivers in here. I wish Muzzy would have stayed, he would have been the star over Brandon Jackson and may have had a Casey Fitzgerald season.

When it goes to the softer "welcome to the show" part, you could have a video/photo of McCarney and when it says "please come inside" you can show a view of our new stadium. After that it picks up hard again and that would fit nicely with a Jonas Buckles/Craig Jones type hit or Craig Robertson/Tobe Nwigwe if you want to go more recent.

I've only been following the Mean Green as a homer since the 2005 season. I went to one game(at Baylor) prior to that in 1999, my freshman year at NT, because my gf's dad lived in Waco and one of my HS teammates played for Baylor. I heard around school that we had beaten Texas Tech but other than that, I was the typical(of that time) uninformed, uninterested student. I left NT in the spring of '01 and returned in the fall of '05 with a better head on my shoulders and became the addict I am now. The point of this rambling is that I'm still relatively new to Mean Green fandom and came across my favorite NT intro vid on youtube. I was curious what intros were like in the past and what some of your favorites were.

Yep great job by a Troy team we very nearly beat. Seeing Ohio on TV made me appreciate the switch from hunter green to kelly green again. Hunter is just too dark for TV.

Seems to me, you'd like us to be even more high school with the black uniforms(see Trinity, Coppell, etc. they all want to be Leach's Tech these days). Go ahead and tell the program that generates more revenue than any other in the state that the all white looks like a HS team. Oh, and we looked like a high school team because we were coached as such and played that way, not because of the uniforms.

No disrespect to this candidate but I would rather have Shelton Gandy. He has proven he can coach running backs to a high level.

He coach WRs under McCarney, maybe he will be doing that agin, although that would make it difficult for Conroy Hines. Maybe this is another Chuck Peterson debacle. "I know the guy has been college assistant coach of of the year as an offensive coordinator and qbs coach but I want to make him a safeties coach because he was a defensive back 20+ years ago"

Find a way to get SMU removed from that conference.

The only problem I have with the hiring of Leach would be that offense was the least of our worries over the last couple years. McCarney is a defensive guy which is why I like his hire so much. We're good, we already have a BCS-level offensive coordinator.

I think you missed my point. My position has more to do with Todd Dodge putting his career on his son's shoulders and less with what Canales did.

I'm curious how many of you have actually gone into a job interview and not said "This is the company I want to work for". I hope you have said something similar and are gainfully employed today. If not, I hope you have learned from your mistakes.
