I can't help but feel like I'm re-living 2006. We start off getting beat bad by Texas. Come home and beat SMU pretty good. Then lose the third game in embarrassing fashion. Additionally, the coach brings in the 3rd team ("green team") after the game has gotten way out of hand and they actually start playing pretty well. I remember '06 LaTech when Matt Phillips/Casey Fitzgerald and the Green Team came back and almost beat the dawgs only to have Dickey put the starters back in and we lost. Welcome home 3-9 season. The Buick is back and as predictable as ever.

Don't get me wrong, I think Dajon should get an opportunity to show what he can do. However, you contradict yourself above when you reference Evans' run as in garbage time yet you speak as if Dajon's drive wasn't. Dajon's drive was the drive with the Evans touchdown. Without that run, you are talking about a 15 yard drive, in garbage time. We need to see what Dajon can with some meaningful stamps early in the game but that won't happen as long as he is in Mac's doghouse.

Agreed. I went to the Texas fan day. My kids got hundreds of autographs while we were there. I got one. It was Bruce Chambers. He was polite and shook my hand but also said "I can't wait to get ahold of North Texas". He is doing his job much like Craig Way does. If we were playing Iowa or Iowa State, Coach Mac would still have to be pro-Mean Green because that is his livelihood. I do think that Chambers was impressed with my Mean Green pride in seeking him out though.

That was the most miserable game I ever attended because of the weather. I took my wife and she hated me for it. We should've won that game and been 2-0 on the season.
