I was curious about the records of the quarterbacks who have started for NT since Scott Hall left because things have seemed pretty sparse other than the '13 season that DT gave us. Below is a list of the quarterbacks that have started at least 5 games for us going back to Hall. I have sorted them by win percentage. Other than DT (because of '13), nobody is even close to Hall's record. He wouldn't have played this year anyway because of Morris, what is wrong with him coming in a year later? He and Shanbour appear to be close so I'm all for bringing him in here. I'd be happy with that. Let's remember that the $78M price we paid was a steal because of the state of the economy at the time. The true value of Apogee is likely much higher. Tulane's new stadium cost $75M and it isn't even in the same class with Apogee. The new UH stadium cost $128M and with the exception of having more seating, isn't as nice as Apogee.

I agree on the fundraising side but on the hiring side I think their athletic directors would be more accountable to their hires than ours because they can afford to go out and hire away a conference rival's DC for a $1.5M salary which is more than our entire assistant salary pool. They have the money to go out and get anyone on the market so they have very few excuses when those hires do not work out.

Would the same be true here? You can't make this argument for the administration and then render it nonsense for the athletic department. They are either both accountable to their failures or they are both excused for insufficient resources.

I don't understand why if we already have a health science center in Fort Worth. The system offices being in Dallas is a huge mistake in my opinion.
