Well deserved. I watched them play Clemson earlier in the season. They got jobbed hard by the refs in a game they should've won. That is their only loss on the season.

You aren't going to lose that many quarterbacks in two games. You still have Morris, Shanbour, O'Hara(who was not signed to redshirt, he just isn't that good), and Mitch Cason before you even have to consider Means and Chumley.

Yea I mean, if I had only 2 1/2 games left in my college career, I'd play it safe too.

It isn't useless if you inspire your teammate and the team shows a spark. Fine stole Morris' job doing just that. I'd rather throw Shanbour in there, he doesn't seem afraid to put his body on the line. I guess as a 5th year senior, Morris is protecting his draft stock.

I find it sad that our 170lb freshman quarterback has bigger stones than our 230lb 5th year senior. Just truck somebody for the damn first down! This isn't the SEC, you are just as big as their linebackers for crying out loud. Play to win the damn game.

The eligibility wasn't on Walsh though. It was on UIL, just like Littrell recruit Daxx Garman. Dillman played JV for Guyer. Walsh played him at TE because he thought he was better suited there than qb. You think all 128 FBS schools forgot he had an offer to play qb at Nebraska? No. They just knew he wasn't suited to the position. He will be a good DE or TE for us.

He should be a good player for us somewhere but not a quarterback. The QBs Harrell and Littrell are bringing in are good enough where you don't have to bother with putting Dillman at qb. Looking at both Dillman's and Fine's high school tapes, Fine looks like a quarterback, while Dillman looks like a physical specimen playing quarterback. His technique isn't close to Fine's and I think size was why he was ever a 4 or 5 star qb. Don't think for a second that if Dillman was truly a P5 caliber qb that John Walsh wouldn't have found him a home on a big 12 team.

I wasn't around for the NO Bowl run so I never saw the MUTS as a rival, just a team that kicked our ass. I vividly remember 35-0. None of the Belt schools felt like a rivalry to me. The only school that felt like a rival was SMU because of their proximity and the fact that they think they are better than us when they really aren't. UTSA may feel the same way about us but I don't know. I do know they are fast approaching CougarQueen levels of being annoying.

To give a little more perspective, here are some lowlights provided by CUSA. I love how they included the pick play on the first touchdown. Nice non-call CUSA refs. Terrible.

Seems very telling to me. I doubt he gets this addition under the pre-Wren Baker regime. That would take too much effort.

If we were OU, SMU would be our UT and UTSA would end up being our OSU. I don't like it but it is turning out that way. I guess it isn't all bad though, Roadrunner land is only an hour from my house.

He is probably talking about Evyn Roman although he was a Dodge recruit that never played for Mac. Also, here and here. The board nicknamed him hair but I think after awhile it morphed into toast.

All the UTSA fans I came into contact with were very kind. I guess I just didn't encounter the trolls.

Was it just where I sat or were our fans really so quiet they could've been in church or a choir concert? In addition to not making noise when UTSA had the ball, there were a few that were making noise with the UTSA fans while we had the ball in the red zone. I just don't get it. This team feeds off of our crowd and what we brought was weak.
