Just noticed a new player added to Mean Green roster..... the bio is short.... the last few walk ons have seen little action so who knows if he will contribute.

I think I'll go White, Odufuwa, Tramiel, Collin, and Thompson. I could easily put Hogans in for Tramiel though....

This game looked highly competitive at first, but all of sudden crappy special teams and turn overs are hindering any chance to win.

As I read the list, I was thinking "it's great to see the SBC win the games they should win" until I got to the ULM game... what crappy way for ULM to start their season losing to who? William Cary? I'd be pissed to lose my home opener to a William Carey even if it is an exhibition game.... Anything less than a 30-50 point win over Cameron will be dissapointment for me, except if JJ clears the bench early in the game.

CMJ. I really, really, really hope your right. I have never feared a president taking over like I have with Obama. We are handing the fate of our country to the ultra-libs, who believe that America is a "bad" country who has misbehaved and needs to be punished. They want a European style government with high taxes and social programs. We are not a European country. And why would we want to be like one anyway? France, Italy, Germany, Russia, Spain.... all examples of mediocrity. Former world powers that fell from grace, in large part due to their style of government. We are at a critical period in American history with a global recession and energy dependence... I really fear that implementing Obama's polices may have devastating consequences. I hope and pray that I am 130% wrong. I hope that I am laughed at in 4 years for these thoughts. I wish Obama the very best and hope that he makes wise choices as I genuinely believe the future of American prosperity and our place as a world economic and military leader is at stake.

With the Dems anti-energy independence policies, especially anti-drilling for oil, I fully expect oil prices to go back up over the next 6 months now that they know the U.S. won't do anything about high oil prices.

Let the high taxes and social programs begin! I hope Americans were right on this one... God help us if not.

I actually noted this too during one thread yesterday that I was almost certain we had several tight end formations.... Dodge is adapting... took him a while, but he is adapting....

Yes, he was not razor accurate at times, and admittedly, one area I feel Vizza has regressed in as QB is the deep throws. But his overall performance was very good. I don't know how someone can say Vizza had accuracy problems throwing 4TDs and 62%. With the exception of special teams, this was an all around hard fought, hard nosed performance by the Mean Green.

You may be surprised by the numbers, but Vizza had FANTASTIC night.... 62% (23-37) completion rate with 4 TDs and 1 interception. He also rushed for 34 yards and 1 touch down. That, my friend, is some offensive output. Great win tonight! That was a tough WKU team that played some ranked teams pretty decently.

If someone forced you into a business deal where they got 40% and you got 60%, but they didn't actually do anything, would you take that deal? Would you be happy with it? I am hopeful that Obama and the ultra-libs don't drive the economy into the abyss by 2012 with all the tax hikes... I hope too that this energizes the public to return to low taxes and conservative principles in 2012 presidential election.... God help us with the Libs in control of the house/senate/presidency. What I don't understand is that Obama will introduce a trillion in new spending, counting on taxes to cover it. But when you raise taxes, revenue to the U.S. treasury decreases due to financial strategies people take that you describe. Business will actually clean out the coffers by the end of year just to avoid taxes. I can blame them. I rather waste money on things I don't need than send it to the government.
