I looked that up earlier today and was surprised that they actually played decent (relatively speaking) against some good programs. This game will not be a walk in the park.

Mean Green beat a tough home team in Indiana State today... 80-69. We move to 3-1 on the season. It is time to support this team! Take your mind off of our crappy football team by coming out this Wednesday night to see the Mean Green pile drive Jackson State at the Super Pit.

Another great road win! We are 3-1 instead of 1-3 as many predicted..... the best thing is that we are not even playing our best ball yet... in fact, we are just finding ways to win while this team learns how to play together.... I think Odufuwa, Tramiel, and Johnson will emerge as stars on the team... perhaps even McCoy.... and we all know that White is already THE MAN and leader of the team. I can't wait until Wednesday for the Jackson State game.... let's all get out and support this team!

The momentum seems to have shifted to ISU.... not sure why... hard to tell when you are not watching the game... I wonder if they came out flat??

Collin Dennis is having another bad shooting game so far (1/5)... he just can't seem to find his shot.

Overall, aside from a low 2-point shot percentage, we played pretty well: 3 Point 7-15 (46.4%), Assists 5, Turnovers 3, Blocks 1, Steals 2.

Can anyone tell me why Stewart is taking long shots?

Kinda curious about who starts tonight. Thompson played good the first game, but has struggled in all areas since then.

South Alabama plays #3 Louisville today at 3:00pm. This game will be broadcast on ESPN360... great to chance to see how USA is playing at this point in the season.

There will be video coverage of this game. You have to purchase a monthly subscription for $11.95, which you can cancel after the game. You can find a link here. I am not sure if I will... School streamed video are notoriously poor quality and $11.95 seems a little high. Gosycamores.com will also provide Live Stats (usually free) for this game, which I really like. You can find it here, look under "Media" for the link. I am also confused about the start time. Our original schedule say 2:00pm. Meengreensports says 12:30pm. Gosycamores.com says 1:00 (2:00pm ET). I'm pretty excited about this game after the fantastic road win against SHSU. I hope we can notch another road win against an opponent that plays very strong at home.

Nice win. Utah Valley blowing out ULL.....55-26 with 12 min left in half 2. I am worried about the overall strength of the SBC this season. This could play out well for our conference record, but really hurt our RPI. And the competitiveness of SBC conference play is what makes it fun.

South Alabama blows out Florida A&M 93-64. WKU loses to Murry State 89-61. ULAR ahead 12 over Lou. Tech with only a few minutes left in the game.

Denver loses to Lamar 61-48. WKU is getting beat down by Murray State. You can't judge a team by 1 game, but this does not look like the same WKU I saw last year. I know they lost some seniors so they may still getting adjustments made.... but they better get it together quick.

WKU looks discombobulated... taking poor shots, being out played and out hustled by Murray State.... 13-4 Murray State with 12:31 minutes left.

The WKU game will be broadcast on Fox College Sports Central (FCS-Central) tonight at 7:00pm.

"Btw, There's A Game This Weekend"..... no there isn't.... this isn't even competitive....... I have never stopped watching one of our games, but I can't take this shite anymore. Our football team is awful. Thank God Mean Green basketball started.

UNO vs Savannah State UMKC vs FAU Florida A&M vs USA WKU vs Murray State Louisiana Tech vs ULAR Denver vs Lamar ULL vs. Utah Valley New Orleans starts the season 0-3 with a 54-44 loss to Savannah State. I sure hope we have some more OOC wins tonight. Opening night was great for the SBC, but since then has been miserable.

Good job MTSU... you represented your SunBelt brethren on the national stage with a great effort. MTSU looks to be the real deal this season. Our games should be fun.

I think the most important stat is that they were 12-2 at home.... we will be in another battle with Indiana State, much like with SHSU.... I say bring it on... this young Mean Green team needs to learn how to win on the road against teams that seldom lose at home.... the SHSU win probably did wonders for our team's confidence and win at Ind. State will probably do the same.

This hadn't been the greatest start for the SBC in OOC play..... ULM loses to McNeese State and Troy to Centenary?? The FIU loss and our loss to OSU are to teams in BCS conferences, which doesn't make them as bad, but loses nonetheless. WKU lost to Houston and so on. I wonder if the SBC will be a weak conference this season? It appeared the SBC was strengthening overall in the past few years so I hope not.
