I wonder if JJ and Co. know that he is now available?

ULM getting blown out the massively all-powerful Tennessee Tech - 20-4 with 13 minutes left in the first half.

Would he be available to play immediately or sit out one season?

For some reason, the powers that be seem to favor really strong records even if against mediocre competition. If we can run up our record to the low to mid 20 wins, we might get a decent seed, especially if we can win most/all or our OOC games, particularly teams in higher ranked conferences like Arkansas and Houston.

South Alabama 71 Maine 59 FAU 68 McNeese State 72 The "powerhouse" in McNeese State is beating up on the SBC this season. They now have wins over FAU and ULM. McNeese appears to have a much better team as evidenced by a 4 point loss against TCU and 6 point loss to Tulane, but geez, this confirms that the SBC overall is an overall weaker conference this season. I hope that we seize on this opportunity to run up a nice conference record.

I only saw the women's Houston game on Premium. I was thinking about re-subscribing to Premium since it has been reported to be improved; however, it doesn't appear the men's Houston game will be broadcast?

Final score 84-82. I actually nailed our score exactly, but overestimated our defense or underestimated their offense.

We've played pretty darn good on the road so far, but I am a little nervous about the Houston game given our shaky play in late in the first half tonight that cost us a nice lead and almost the game. This Houston game will probably be one of the toughest this season. Go Mean Green!

Josh White had a 7/1 assist/turnover ratio tonight! His scoring was down, but I'll take this in place of extra 5 or 10 points... we have plenty of scorers... we need a field general. Also, Dominique Johnson is a pimp. He shoots lights out and is extremely fast.

Major fun.... plus our guys win.... for those who have only supported football so far, I'll provide a definition of the word "win" to refresh your memory since these are so far and few between in football: win = to score more points than your opponents by the end of the game. Members on this board need to stop depressing themselves. I despise the state of the football program right now, but these woe with me/woe with us posts are getting laborious. Ball State is Ball State. Boise State is Boise State. They have nothing to do with us. We are not them and and they are not us and will never be. We have our own path that we must go down to realize success. Take a break from football folks if you are feeling depressed, anxious, or physically ill. Your health is not worth it.

Crazy right? Sweet 16 to the bottom of the D-1 in less than 4 games since the tourny. Sargarin has us around 100. If we can beat Houston, we'll move up signficantly.

Wow! ULL pulls out a win over Stephen F. Austin... they trailed nearly the entire game, but made a run with only a few minutes left.... 60-58 ULL.

Troy beats Georgia State in the final seconds....68-63. ULL down 7 against Stephen F Austin with under a minutes to go... it appears that ULL is making a run over the past couple minutes.

ULL swallows Oral Roberts in OT. 79-75 ULL. A little better night in the belt tonight.

FAU loses to James Madison 81-64. ArkState beats Tennessee-Martin 76-67.

ULAR picks up a nice win over Creighton 71-69. ULAR looks to be a formidable opponent in conference play.

Michael Sturns, along with Calvin Watson and Kendrick Davis, were exceptionally kind toward my daughter. They took the time to learn her name and went out of their way to talk to her after basketball games. My daughter now plays basketball because of their influence. I wish you the VERY BEST Michael and hope you achieve your life goal of entering the NBA.

Please don't take my comments about practice as a fact. The person I talked too seemed reliable, but you just never know. I don't want to discredit the potential hard work of one of my favorite players... but it does make a little sense that this could be the case in light of Adam's skills yet decreased playing time.

I am with you CBL. I have been calling for more minutes too. I had a conversation with a former player about 8 months ago. I asked him about White and McCoy in practice. He said that McCoy has mad skills and the team knows it, but that he isn't as engaged in practice as he should be... and that JJ rewards the hardest workers in pratice with more playing time... he also said that White is tireless and relentless in practice... and take a look at White's gametime minutes, highest on the team. But it is apparent that JJ is holding back McCoy's minutes for something. This practice thing could be a factor or maybe not... you never know.

This whole vote thing seems artificial to me. Nicknames are given naturally, not voted on... just my 2 cents.
