  1. Sorry. I didn't realize this was being discussed on another thread.
  2. i checked the Garden City website. I think this is him: Richard Thomas, 6’5, 190, Sophomore. He didn't show up in the 2008 combined season stats. I wonder if he sat out or was injured?
  3. Tight end formations and now snapping under center... holy schnikies.....
  4. Old Timer says that Chatman is eligible to play this fall.
  5. It's a no win scenario for T. Dodge. If he orders full contact and someone gets injured, then everyone complains about full contact and says Dodge is incompetent. When its "hands off" everyone complains there is no full contact and that Dodge is incompetent.
  6. I guess your point is that since Dodge hasn't started winning here yet, he is not entitled too nor should he take measures that are similar to other winning programs? Huh?
  7. That's what Hank said today on the radio... whether or not it is true I do not know, but unless you think he was just making it up, then it is probably true.
  8. Keep in mind too that Hank mentioned on the radio show that Dodge gave advanced warning that they would only run a basic offense for this spring game... focused more an execution. Hank said they did this in large part b/c they didn't want film available for the early season opponents.
  9. Do they allow beer in a bottle on the premises? Or only cans?
  10. I am a little disappointed that I won't get to see Outlaw today... but also thankful that the injury will not threaten his playing time come August.
  11. I share your enthusiasm Calvin. Don't let these grumpy old browbeating men get you down. We gave WKU all they could handle this season, and you can see that WKU beat up on teams outside of our conference and in the NCAA tourny, including Louisville, Illinois, and Georgia... and they nearly whooped a fantastic Gonzaga. This speaks volumes as to how far UNT, WKU, and the SBC have grown. UNT has some nice recruits and most of the starters returning so things look really, really bright for us next season...6'2" PG or not.
  12. Because people like to upset themselves and make comparisons that have no relevance or meaning...
  13. WKU played their hearts out. One of the best games of year that I have seen... great job WKU. You represented the SBC with so much class and guts!!!
  14. Sucks... free throws look to be the Achilles heal for WKU this game. Hopefully they can get a stop or two and nail a few shots.
  15. The NCAA feed, which uses Microsoft Silverlight, has been fantastic tonight! Much better quality than even the ESPN360.
  16. This is a great game!
  17. Full court press causing WKU fits...
  18. I don't know if anyone posted this, but if you can't catch WKU on CBS, head over to the NCAA March Madness website for free web streaming of the entire game. The feed is actually a little better than the ESPN360.
  19. "Smurf backcourt" really gave me a chuckle....good one CBL.
  20. And we had Arkansas and Oklahoma State scheduled too... we had some golden opportunities to do good things this seasons, but came up short during some critical games.... I think White's wrist injury hurt us more than we knew.... he really exploded at the end of the season...
  21. Watching the USA vs. ULAR on ESPN360, I noticed that you can improved picture for wide screen monitors (16:9) if you select 4:3. You just get black bars on each side of the screen.
  22. If I recall right, we actually wore white with green trim yesterday.. almost certain we did....
  23. My computer monitor (25") is an HD monitor and I have a HDMI connection to a nice video card.... the quality of ESPN360 is OK. Not great, thought it is the best online streaming service... but it leaves a little to be desired on bigger monitors/TV's.... in fact, I recall ESPN360 looking better on my 17" monitor than this newer big one.
  24. Another nice quote: "MTSU coach Kermit Davis has seen his team fall to UNT twice since Feb. 14 and said there might not be a hotter team in the Sun Belt now." “All the credit needs to go to how North Texas has played the last three or four weeks and how they played today,” Davis said. “Right now, they have the best inside-outside combination in the league.”
  25. Wow... I didn't realize how far we have come along: "In the Sun Belt tournament, the Mean Green is now 7-1 the last three seasons after winning just one tournament game in its first six years in the league. "
