I gotcha. What threw me off was that I thought MTSU would be the East winner with a win over FAU. But they are actually tied with Troy and lost to Troy twice. That puts Troy in first and us in first with equal conference records, and we have beat Troy in head-to-head competition; thus, UNT should be declared the #1 seed. Do we have a winner here in my analysis? Chris

I just don't even know what to say about this game.

Just when you think we are getting it going, we do something sloppy. I don't know how to explain this. We are probably in the mid 20's of TO's. It's like they threw out their game style and adopted the ULM street ball style... maybe the Mean Green want the conference championship so bad that are panicking a bit?

I do not know what happended... we have been a great free throw shooting team, but toward the latter part of this season, we have dropped off.

Yes, we will have to win, at least in the first half, without him. This makes makes me nervous, though Spencer gives much more quality minutes, especially because he isn't as slow as mudd as in the beginning of the season... overall a rough, sloppy start for both teams.

Can't seem to find any viewing options. The game is not listed at ESPN360, ChannelSurfing.net, or Mean Green Premium. My hope is that ESPN360 will air this since they show all the SBC games of the week; perhaps it just hasn't been added to their channel guide yet. Please post here if you can find TV/internet viewing options. I really want to watch this one.

Several friends of mine who have played basketball with Kedrick in the school gym have told me that he is a really nice and laid back guy.

Keith Wooden was at the game... My daughter and I said a quick hello and let him know we haven't forgotten him or his contributions... he said the Ben Bell was there too but we couldn't find him... Nice to see some of the former stars who helped revamp that UNT men's basketball, especially with their NCAA appearance, at the game tonight.... Great game too... a bit more of a nail biter than I would have liked, but a good one nonetheless. I hope that Mangrum can start to peak in his play, particularly with his 3 shot, right about now.. .we need a good spark off the bench who can put some points when we slump on offense.
