There was talk about Josh and this signing with USC. If I recall right, Josh brought it up in an interview and mentioned Southern California... I could be remembering this wrong, but I am pretty sure.

This appears to be a fantastic signing that ups the ante ever higher on the quality of our recruits. We all know that Josh White was also a highly regarded recruit out of Louisiana, and to think that McGhee is even higher rated than Josh makes me so excited that I want to break dance (if I knew how).

I got a great chuckle from this one.

No looking good for Troy... they are playing even more impatient and spastic than usual.

Troy looked to be playing a great game when I first tuned in, but have since just lobbed up 3's and committed fouls and turnovers.

Did you know that MTSU is playing Missouri State right now? Missouri State up 21-15 with about 7 min in 1H left... Unfortunately, no channel surfing for this game.

I will make one prediction: Collin Mangrum will go nuts in this game with his scoring, particularly the 3 shot.

I conducted a brief analysis of Mean Green turnovers. It seemed to me that during the SBC tourney we protected the ball a bit better so I analyzed average regular season T.O.'s versus SBC tourney T.O.'s. Regular season: 15 / SBC Tourney: 11. So my perception was accurate... 11 a game isn't horrible, but if we want to beat Kansas State, it will have to get even better. Go Mean Green!!

Seems everything Obama touches turns to doodie or is in the wrong direction. Obama's pick just upped my confidence that we might actually pull the upset.

I can't tell you how disappointed I am, but I won't be able to watch the game - at least live. I will be at work (on internship at a hospital) and already took off 3 days last week for dissertation. My big decision now is if I should check the score at work or suffer through and not watch the score so I can watch it on-demand on the internet when I get home.... decisions, decisions.
