I am happy for Collin. However, Coach Jones stuck with him through all the injuries and tied up a scholarship for what seemed like forever. What is too much to ask for him to wait one year to go to law school given Coach Jones' dedication to him through the injury plagued years?

I was in the front row of student section, and when I looked back and toward the ceiling during Mean Green free throws, I saw a ton of eagle claws from floor to wall.

I wish Texas Tech the very best from here on, and I hope that they go on to win out the rest of the season and win the Big 12 Championship.

That really stinks. That will lesson the value of our win there. I'm glad we beat Tech now even more.

Just got home from the game.. WOW. We, the Pit Crew, were loud and crazy for the full game, non-stop for 60 minutes... And even the non-Pit Crew attendees were really into the game - I was so proud of them... they didn't sit on their hands and stood from about 7 minutes in the 2nd half until that game ended... what an atmosphere that was! I am exhausted and will need a day or two to recover... And I didn't play.. I cannot imagine how the Mean Green players feel right now. I've been going to Mean Green b-ball games since 2005, and probably missed 5 games in 5 years... This was my hands-down favorite game ever.

It cracks me up to see people argue over projections and even give folks negative ratings because they didn't like their projection. People speak as if they know the "real" number and everyone else is fool for not agreeing... I just cannot get enough of this (rolling on floor laughing)... My projection is: 7243

I am really amped about this game. This is definitely a winnable game, but they will have to come out sharp and on target early on. Pre-season, I thought for sure we'd win... but the opening 2 games shook me a bit.. One important factor though: JJ teams sometimes play to the level of their opponent, and saw that in these early games again. I hope this works in our favor for the Texas Tech game - Josh White in particular has been known to show up in spectacular fashion for big time games... GO MEAN GREEN!

Dang! I just listened to the interview for the first time, and he got me all pumped up about UNT Football... I like how he doesn't mince words about his strong desire to be our head coach. We have to keep this guy around one way or another. He is winner with a winner's mentality. I hope things work out for him whatever the outcome of the head coach search.

True and 1 miss came on a night when one of QB's got knocked out of the game, and they had to put someone in who didn't actually hold the ball for kicks (can't recall who it was)...

Thanks for the clarification on Longwood. Hopefully, the KU announcers are correct about the Mean Green. The Texas Tech announcers were also commenting that UNT is going to be a very tough game, and even said that if ULM is projected to be 6th place in the Belt, they have their work cut out with the projected 1rst place UNT.

TTU pulling away now. Knight got so pissed at his starting unit that he benched them all... put in 5 new players... they got TTU back in the game, and then the starters took from there... Knight's move worked... looks like TTU will pull this on out, though there is still 8 minutes left... Brown from ULM is lights out on 3's.
