Here we go! Tough game ahead... hopefully we come out strong and not fall behind quickly.. that will catch up with us sooner or later.

Thank god it is on ESPN3. The JumpTV sports network (provider for UNT and SBC) is really crappy quality. It did play skip free which is a major improvement since last SBC tourney, but the video quality is extremely, extremely poor. I'm watch the ESPN3 feed right now with its much better video quality.

As bad a half as that was, we are only down 7. We probably played some of our worst offensive ball, and we are still in it. If we can make our shots in the 2nd half, we will be fine.

You sure called this one right CMJ. I noticed the odd, or better stated, different use of time outs by JJ. JJ stated in the post-game interview that they took time outs during free throws or close to media time-outs to give his guys extended rest.... smart use of TOs by JJ & Co. Probably won the game for them.

Really nice win. Probably makes no difference for the SBC tourney (4th vs. 5th seed), but we have a 2-game win streak which couldn't be more important this point.

I already posted about the overall lame video production... I thought I'd complain about the announcers now. They do not seem to have a clue.. or even know when they are on the air or off... these guys are a drag to listen too.... I really, really appreciate Hank even more now...

I hope you are right, but they said he had a left ankle injury and he wasn't even practicing over the past week before the Denver game.. hopefully though, as you suggest, it is strategics by coaches.

ULAR video feed is all around terrible... marginal video quality, volume problems, and random music that blasts through over the commentator... worse than high school quality production. I guess the only good thing is it hasn't skipped yet...yet.
