Holmen has already played today!

They are a better team right now.. no doubt... but the officials have given all but one close calls to Miss. State.

I can't help but wonder if Chris Jones might serve us best at the 2. He is a fantastic, and reliable scorer... probably the best we have right now.

Give me a break with their 3's.. they are lobbing them up, often from NBA range.. and sometimes off-balance... they can't seem to miss.... give me a break!

For me I think the biggest disappointment is Roger Franklin. I expected so much more from him given his background and experience (Jr.).

Not true. Holmen as already played. Not sure on Robinson.

This has been a much, much better start.. though we are still prone to turn overs... New starting line-up with Alzee and Niko.... Looks a little more polished and under-control... still have trouble feeding the big man... pass seems to get stolen often... need to be quicker and more decisive on these passes...

This game is a fantastic opportunity for Mean Green basketball to get a win over a Top 25 team. This would create even more momentum and exposure for our burgeoning program. Based on our play in the last game, I do not expect us to win, but if our guys can get their "A" game going today and play as a team at their actual talent level, I think we have a chance.

So our recruits, many of them highly regarded, suddenly lost the ability to make an open shot when they entered D1? That doesn't makes sense.

Why is nearly every shot we take is "off-balance" or something like that?

Still no time-out JJ??? Give me a break.. how bad do they have to play to get a time-out to reorganize?

Well this really sucks so far.

I checked the UTA athletics website, and didn't see any video options.. amazing in this day and age that they do not offer a video feed yet.

He played 1 down right before the half ended... perhaps we'll see more of him in the 2nd half. I really want him to break those UNT rushing records... he's earned it.

TT has a new coach and an excellent freshman recruits.... we have a excellent freshman recruits... this game will go down to the wire with the team who makes the least turnovers and makes their free throws likely to pull it out... perhaps JJ might be the difference maker (experienced vs. new coach who unfamiliar with his players.. even returning ones)... UNT 80, TT 79.

I watched this game... and Troy's press became more and more effective as the game wore on... I wonder if JJ will take the same approach tonight.

At the start of the season, there are always oddities in the rankings. I seem to recall last year we started off in the Top 25 at CBS. Heck we moved from 320 to 85 in 1 week after a win over a DII team.
