I didn't see it so I just purchased the game from ULM. Why do promote it to be on Mean Green Premium only to not show it?

Chris Jones starting to look silky smooth like last season. But against inferior competition so I don't know how much that means.

Meangreensports.com says our recruiting class is #28 in the nation. I don't keep with recruiting as well as some around here. Is this a legit assessment?

Let me first say that I was disgusted with the loss. Swore off the Mean Green for the season but then retracted after I woke the next day. I noted this too Harry after the losses. We missed so many open jump shots, including short-, mid- and 3-point range, free throws in clutch periods, and "runners." This is not a coaching issue (though we do have other coaching issues). This is a player issue. If they need to be coached on how to make an open shot at this level, than they should not be playing at all. Sure, coaches can help refine and improve shot form, etc... but give me a break, you can't win with any game plan if you can't make open shots. My belief is that all the hype got into the players' heads... and not in the way that others have said (i.e., that he players believe the hype, are arrogant, etc.)... but rather in a way that our players played stressed, forceful and un-fluid in an effort to meet these high expectations. I think we started to see the players settle down last night against Lamar with much improved play and shots - hopefully this continues.

I am still so sour about last night, I can't seem to get excited about this win.

I'm not sure how I feel about Benford yet. Hate is a strong word. But all I know is that your players have to make their open shots at some point.

We play either way. Either Lamar or Kansas State.... hopefully we win tonight and play Kansas State tomorrow on ESPN.

Great Jordon Williams injures himself on an "ill timed" lob by Chris Jones... everything seems to be ill-timed, including yet another injury.

We just don't seem to have a rhythm or plan to our offense. I can't even tell you what type of offensive team we are. There is nothing coherent.

We can't buy a bucket. Even the normally reliable Alzee can't make a runner.

Terribly disappointing game for Tony Mitchell. I know he tries to take what it given, but we need him to take over and dominate a game like the stud he is.

I think we will pull this one out. I'm not going to freak out.... yet.

Has Coleman's name been called? If not, why?

I was hoping that Benford and his somewhat new offensive scheme would just slide right in with the talent we have with no probs.... but I really think our shooters are not comfortable or confident yet... that happens when you do not know exactly what is expected of you... we'd better get it figured out quick.

I forgot to add. The new UNT coach runs a very JJ like offense plus loads of full court presses.

UNT women lost, but they played their hearts out. I watched it from start to finish. There was a part of the game where they were down by 16 when TSA made loads of 3's.. basically anything they lobbed up. But our girls never gave up and almost pulled out the win if it were not for a few key missed shots in the final 2 minutes or so... women should be good this season.

I've looked around, and I can't find any video viewing options for this game. I am willing to purchase the pre-season NIT games too. Does anyone know anything?
