  1. I am guessing some of our offensive plays. Fluke? or return to the obvious?
  2. the announcers are starting to sound a little concerned... the respect is increasing!
  3. I had to turn off the Mean Green radio broadcast while watching the Internet broadcast b/c they are so out of sync. So, I am stuck listening to Tulsa broadcasters. They have zero respect for our team. They even seem surprised it isn't 60-0 already. They even said "Woody is not a good passing QB." C*ck suckers.
  4. I can't double click or right click the game. What website URl did you log in at?
  5. yes, IE. I can see the game just fine - just not full screen.
  6. won't work for me.
  7. As best I can tell, you can't. Having never used the CSTV viewer, I posted earlier that if it was anything like UNT's, you could make it full screen. Unfortunately, it is not. They are broadcasting the game using a program called Flash (UNT uses Window Media Player). There are no adjustments... sucks!!! If I figure a way to get get it full screen, I'll repost.
  8. You can listen to UNT broadcast over the internet. No radio needed. You can Listen Here
  9. I really can't say. I never used the CSTV viewer before. You probably have a 150K DSL. 300K or higher is best for these live streams. One thing you can try to increase speed is to unplug your modem and router (if you have a router) for 30 seconds or longer. Then turn them back on. This clears out junk (rouge data packets) that gets built up over time, and you will typically see a small speed increase (if you haven't done this recently). Moreover, your modem will sometimes get updated if there is an update available from the ISP. Last - you can often upgrade from a 150K line to a 300K line for only a few dollars a month, if they offer such an upgrade.
  10. Read my post again. I included the 800 number.
  11. I just got off the phone with CSTV. They handle Tulsa's webcasts. You can call 888-870-2788 to purchase the game. They will throw in 2 free weeks to your one month purchase.. 6 weeks total for $6.95. I know - its Tulsa, but if they give something free, why not take it. You can even tell them not to autobill so you don't have to remember to call back. Very friendly folks. I had a good experience. One note: Their computers were down briefly... probably overloaded with Mean Green fans just aching to see us beat Tulsa You may want to wait an hour or so to call.
  12. thanks for the personal response! Tune sounds good. These are really exciting times at the QB position!!!
  13. The Word 107 in Denton broadcasts it over the internet. Check on the radio station's website: 107
  14. I think your observation that we often play very difficult OOC teams is a good one. I really like that we line up teams like UT, OU, etc on our schedule, no matter what our chances of winning. This suggests that we have a REAL chance to get highly ranked some day if we win all of our OOC games and, of course, SBC games. If we develop a truly GREAT team at some point, we will have top opponents on our schedule to beat up on. It appears that opportunities to advance to the next level are constantly in front of us (imagine if we beat UT). All we have to do is win.
  15. If it is anything like Mean Green Premium, it will be a so-so internet broadcast of the game. You get a pretty decent picture on your computer monitor if you keep the viewing window to about 4"x4" window.. you can make it a full screen, but the video quality drops significantly. In addition, you MUST have DSL or Cable... I don't care what they say. Don't buy it if you have a 56k (dial up)... that really sucks. Tell you the truth, it is really better than nothing. You can turn off the audio, and turn on the UNT radio broadcast for your narrative...
  16. What's the story of the QB Tune? I have seen him mentioned here and there.
  17. I don't know jack about recruiting so I will put my comment in the form of a question. Why don't we look for more standout JUCO and Division 2A players? I am sure there are plenty of overlooked players. In fact, there are numerous D2A teams ranked higher than many D1A teams, and I'm sure most JUCO players would love to play D1A. Where am I wrong here? Or what don't I understand? Maybe they already do this?
  18. I think you and I have different definitions of "greatness." While admittedly DD has done alot for this program, our OOC record is absolutely unacceptable. Your "this is the Sunbelt division" talk doesn't cut it for me. You want me to say he's great. OK. Bounce back from a 2-9 season with a winning record (not 6-6), win at least 1/2 or more of our OOC games, AND retake the Sunbelt Championship..... all this season. I would be willing to say DD is doing great things. But of course, I expect all of these stats to improve even more next season. To expect anything less of DD wouldn't be a Mean Green attitude. WE CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS.
  19. I agree that there is nothing quite like game time experience. But if it is so vital that back-up QB's get game time experience, why is it that the vast majority of other D-1A times do not rotate out their starting QB? Hell, we even announced it before seeing how Woody plays. If Woody sucks or can't put up points, yank him. Otherwise leave him alone. I also suspect (as suggested in this post) that Meager will see playing time. Hopefully he will play well.
  20. If we lose to Tulsa, I might agree with him. If we beat Tulsa, I demand a retraction from Bennett stating, "I was mistaken, UNT is a better team then us"
  21. Anyone know about this Jackson kid offhand. I just woke up and are too lazy to go research it right now.
  22. hehe...I love how you guys are sticklers for grammatical errors in this board.
  23. hehe... will do
  24. hehe... Damn, we have to get some more recent team bragging rights.... maybe we'll beat OU next year and we can relish that win for a new 1000 years
  25. Of course, back-ups need to get snaps, but I'd argue more during practice with other 2nd and 3rd string teams, rather during game time situations. I have said it before, there is high likelihood that Woody will get hurt at some point. Our back ups need to be prepared. I'd love to see them shine. However, I don't know how any QB can get in sync with the offense with the constant switching, though Woody seems to find a way to make things work in spite of this.
