Personally, I do not think he is being cocky. He speaks very directly about his career and financial goals, but I know the some folks don't care for this style (especially about money). It is another matter as to whether he can actually carry out these goals, including the NBA. I actually checked up on him 2 weeks ago at the Holy Family website. I didn't post what I found b/c I didn't think anyone would care.... I noticed that he averaged a ton of points, but what really stood out was his many turnovers (which they failed to mention in the article). Apparently, this part of his game didn't change after leaving UNT. I wish Sturns the very best and hope that he achieves all of his goals. There was some issues with his behavior both on and off the court, but he always treated us with respect and kindness. He was always very nice to my daughter.... he took the time to actually learn her name and talk to her after the games, and even would throw things (wrist sweat bands, etc.) to her in the crowd.
