thanks.... that chicken catch is harder than it seems... it was a ton of fun though.... if you look up to see where the chicken is landing, the basket leans backwards, so you have to figure out where it is going to fall and look forward.... the funny thing is, I got the game a few minutes late due to my daughter's b-ball game.... my buddy says, I signed us up for something.... the next thing I know I'm on the court with a silly basket on my head chasing rubber chickens.....

I was thinking 3000 and they said 3500 on the radio...

The last 2 feeds I had from Denver and Troy were 1000x better than before... I think I lost the feed twice during the entire game... hopefully, it will be a much better feed for you tonight...

If I read this right, the ULL coach said that he wishes Josh ended up in a conference other than SBC....i was kind of taken back when I read it.... I think that is a sorry thing to say about the conference that you recruit and play in... I wonder if he says this to potential ULL recruits or when he tried to recruit Josh White.

Given that no one used to come to games, especially the students, and that we won few games each season, I think JJ is making great progress in terms of the number of wins, quality of recruits, and increased fan support.... baby steps.... see y'all tonight!

Hey Dallas Green, I was not trying to jump on anyone... I was only trying to motivate.... sorry if it came off wrong in my post.... I disagree about the student turnout....there have been significantly more students out this year...but that is neither here nor there.

Admin's please leave this thread in football if possible. The Mean Green men's basketball team is on the verge of another great season. We enter this game coming off a big time road win against Ark State. We battle regional rival Louisana-Lafayette tonight to improve our record to 12-4, and 3-2 in conference. We haven't lost a home game since February 22, 2007 and are 8-0 at home this season. The Mean Green put on a great show at home with their relentless drive to score big points. The students show up to the games, and it is time for the general public to get their butts in the stands and support this very deep and talented Mean Green basketball team..... Come out and support!! 7PM tonight at the Super Pit (double header with the women).

My daughter, my wife, and I are there... though we'll be a few minutes late... she has a basketball game at 6:00pm...

Yes, I've had too much time on my hands over the winter semester break. It appeared that each week a different player had the game high points, so I went to the score box to see if this was true. Contrast this with teams that have the same person (i.e. New Orleans, etc.) putting the most points up game in and game out. I think this highlights the difficulty that teams have guarding us... they shut down 1 person, and 5 others are ready to step up and score big. I'm with you on that... I was skeptical about the Hogans signing, but wanted to see how it played out. I guess JJ & crew some something special in him... I said it last night, Hogans has the mental attitude and play of a big sized post player... It will be interesting to see Hogans and Odufuwa at the post together next season....

hehe..... How about Hogans.... 14 minutes with 6 points (3/4 from the floor), 2 blocks and 1 steal... he did have 1 TO though.... he played very well, much like he did at Troy. Hogans needs to do the 1000 free throw shots in practice DAILY... Again, he blew it at the free throw line this game.

That was COMPLETE domination of a team that plays very well at home (7-1). I asked for a statement game tonight and got it... Dennis was on fire folks!!

We only had 5 tornovers in the first half... we usually average 18-20 a game... We only had 9 total turnovers for the ULM game... I hope this is a trend and the low turnovers continue forward from here.....
