I chat from time to time, but have become more partial to posting comments in a thread....there is a record of what everyone says that I can go too if I need to step away for a cold one....

I knew we played some great defense as of late... but didn't realize it was this good... from the Mean Green Sports email announcement for tonight's game: "North Texas knocked off Denver by 14 points, Troy by 26 and ULM by 32. The last time a Mean Green squad knocked off three consecutive conference opponents by doubles digits was in 1992. That year, a Jimmy Gales led squad downed five straight Southland Conference teams by an average of 14.6 points per game."

I am really concerned about the effects that all this JJ to LSU talk will have on potential recruits....

I didn't get to watch the entire show... I'm up at UNT all day.... I take it you watched it.... if all the coaches were on but her, then that might be be a premonition as you suggest... or that they ran out of time in their 30 minute show....

It is listed now... simply as Men's basketball vs. North Texas. I don't think it is fair to hold Mean Green Premium responsible for other school's video feeds; however, I hear that feeds from the Super Pit are Super Crappy.... I'd definitely hold them responsible for this....

Can any of our GoMeanGreen recruiting gurus get some info on these new potential recruits?

In addition to our game tomorrow against ULL some other important SBC West Conference games take place: New Orleans @ USA and Denver at ULAR. UNO will likely lose at USA, which puts UNO 2 games behind us (assuming we beat ULL)..... Denver has been horrid on the road so I don't have my hopes up for an early present with a ULAR loss.

Not me... I'm selfish and want him to stay for many more years....

For some reason, UNO has had our number for several years now.... hopefully, we can finally beat them and do it on their own home court!

We truly had a legitimate chance to dominate the West this season. The mid-season lull capped by multiple injuries and the team-wide flu really hurt us, as it would anyone. Hopefully we can pull this one out. I know that even if we don't win the West, we'll still have a decent chance in the SBC tourny, but I'd really like to see us win the West conference championship on the way to another NCAA tourny birth. I think Hilltopper Haven will have a frigin meltdown that they may never again recover from if we go to another NCAA tourny... which isn't a bad thing.

Assuming that if we win out, and that's a big if because we have to beat UNO and ULL on road, we will end up in a tie for first place with ULAR owning the tie breaker. It boils down to needing help from Denver or ULM - the last 2 teams ULAR plays for the regular season. ULAR plays Denver at home and ULM on the road. I cringed when I saw these two remaining games, but a review of earlier ULAR games this season suggests that there is a legitimate chance for a loss to either team. ULAR lost to Denver by 14 on the road, but plays at home this time around. ULAR previously beat ULM by only 2 points at home, and must travel to ULM for their last game. ULM recently played WKU very tough at home and has shown spurts of good play - I think this represents our best chance for a ULAR loss. Man, the last game of the season will be a nail biter with us playing UNO on the road, and ULAR on the road to ULM!!

I'd be so happy with that.... I've really learned to dislike those Hillbillies....er, Hilltoppers - whatever the hell a hilltopper is.... GO MEAN GREEN.... NCAA Tourny is in sight once again.

Did anyone catch what the attendance was last night... they said it on TV like 10 times but each time I actually managed to miss the entire number....

The crazy thing is we are in 6th overall, but only 1 game out of 3rd behind WKU and USA....the SBC has been a battle ground this season. This will go down to the wire...

how's that possible since we are going to win......OK, I'll give it rest
