Sorry, I don't mean to disrespect the police force, but some stupid lady UNT cop came over the Pit Crew and said we couldn't heckle ASU anymore!?! This was midway through the 2nd half. Who the hell does she think she is? We just laughed at her and continue to heckle.... We almost decided to start heckling her, but cooler heads prevailed.... No one, including the police, can tell us how we can and cannot support our team, given that we are not physically harming someone or using obscene language..... the nerve....

The North Texas Daily has a short (1 minutes or so) full color video that updates Men's and Women's Basketball... NTTV presents it in a sports news anchor fashion as seen on any regular news channel.....I hope they do more of this....you can find it here.

You can never coach a team to lose, which had JJ told them to throw the game, would have been more detrimental to our team's confidence and moral than having to play WKU a round early.... Quite frankly, if they are truly NCAA tourny bound, then it shouldn't matter what order they play the SBC games... I hope that we got the road monkey off our back, as well as super instilled confidence with the win against a UNO team we could never seem to beat over the past few years....

I hope another game against ArkState doesn't hurt attendance.... I do like that we play them b/c we are quite capable of whipping their arse, and is a good warm up for WKU.... I have no doubts, however, that it will be a knock down drag out battle due to the revenge factor that ArkState definitely has toward us....

What were the nature of his fouls? Silly, unnecessary, or untimely fouls? Or scrapping hard under the basket against UNO players that constantly drove to the bucket fouls... not all fouls are bad.... obviously if he were a starter, this would be completely unacceptable (ala Keith Wooden)......I wonder about the sarcastic nature of your post... did it bother you so much that someone said something positive about Howerton that you actually went and looked up a negative statistic on him? I guess your point is that we probably did not need his 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 block in our two point victory in light of the 4 fouls he committed?

Most fans are very hard on Howerton, including myself, both at home games and on this board. I want to acknowledge publicly the important role and great play he had in our win against UNO... Howerton put up 7 points on 3/6 shooting (50%), 5 rebounds, and 1 block in 12 minutes.

You want to talk revenge.... ArkState got knocked out of the SBC tourny last season, plus we beat them twice already this season... ArkState will throw everything they have at us, and knocking us out would be as satisfying for them as making the NCAA tourny.... Mean Green better be ready...

How about the Sunbelt this season? 5 teams with 18 regular season wins or more....

Hopefully this road win in the House of Horrors will give this team the confidence they need win on the road at the SBC tourny...
