Such a weird concept that photos of the general public are somehow "owned" by the photographer.... It seems wrong that someone can take photos of the public without their permission or paying them and then claim financial and other rights to them...

I could be totally wrong about this, but I don't see Todd Dodge as a man that will leave after one good year or two no matter the financial offer. He made it explicit that his goal was to turn the Mean Green into the DFW Metroplex's team. Dodge is a man principal and I think that he will fulfill that goal before he considers leaving. Additionally, his son will be here for 4-5 years. I suspect that Riley told his father that he would only transfer if his father was here for at least a majority of those years.

An ESPN basketball analyst just predicted a WKU upset over UCLA.... I really hope this prediction comes true...

I hear ya.... they may be from legitimate D1 conferences, like ourselves, but the every day joe-schmo has no idea unless our opponent comes from a so-called power conference...

Hartford, Southern, and Centenary are legitimate D1 opponents I thought. Certainly not name opponents, but legit.

I think CMJ and I will just have to agree to disagree on this one... the non-calls I saw were in the second half, when UCLA supposedly "buckled down" on defense (or rather fouled the hell out of A&M). I actually prefer a "physical game" were body contact is allowed - however, blatantly hitting someone's arm or holding their wrists when shooting should be a call every time.

Throw in several from Love and it just reinforces my point....I really thought there were a lot of ugly non-calls against Texas A&M. Probably game changing non-calls, but as poorly as A&M was at the foul line, you never know....These non-calls seemed pretty clear to me though, and I'm usually says there are TOO MANY foul calls... it has to be pretty bad for me to complain about too few calls...

My brother, an Aggie, emailed me this morning totally pissed about the no calls too..... here are a couple of photos of several non-calls.... they pretty bad and obvious......here.

UCLA really benefited from a ton of non-calls... So many of Love's blocks were clearly hits on the hand, wrist, or elbow. I don't understand why the refs refused to call obvious fouls??

Hell of a game... one of the best I've watch all year!

My guess is you haven't been to a home men's basketball game in while....hundreds to thousands of students dressed in green t-shirts and crazed green wigs (plus a banana and a wizard) holding life size Josh White cardboard cut outs yelling their arses off, with RV coming by and slapping the students' hands, and an appreciative Mean Green team that never forgets to thank the student section....oh, and I forgot to mention 43 wins in 2 seasons.... I am as disappointed as you about not going to the NCAA tourny, but sorry DallasGreen, you don't know what you are talking about...

I was thinking the same thing... but then I thought if they put the mids in against the top dogs in the first round, we'd say they just wanted to bump out mids.... no win situation for the tourny officials...

It was on a variety of ESPN+ channels, and I think some satellite providers... but I don't think national cable....
