you say all that, but when the press is applied Bell is the only player that seems to know what he is doing, and he might not score a ton of points, but when he does get an open shot he ussually knocks it down.. People seem to forget that this is his first season w/ the mean green, and he looks pretty good out there.. i'd rather have someone who can set up the offense then a guy who looks to slash and score everytime down the court

lol you guys are talking about taking out the guy (Ben Bell) that leads the team in assists for a guy who leads the team in turnovers.. don't get me wrong Sturns is great and he brings energy and momentum off the bench, but there is no way i would want a go with a 26/50 assist to turnover ratio to run the point..

108 is repectable, that means we are in the top 1/3 in the nation, and it also means if we keep playing the way we have the last few game for the remainder of the season we should be in a pretty good spot at the end of the year..

Kevin Darwin would be my top pick, he has already one a JUCO National Champion for NCTC, (NOT COOKE COUNTY JR. COLLEGE!! ) but ya, i'm surprised to hear Danny Darwin is manager of a AA team, the last time I heard of him coaching was for the Pilot Point High schools' pitchers (not even head coach).. I've never heard of Jeff Darwin, I think u may have just gotten carried away with the darwins.. Also many of Kevin Darwin's coaches and players he helped recruit are still at NCTC, and could come over to make us competitive real quick, all the players I ever talked to while in school enjoyed Coach Darwin not only as a coach but as a person

I agree with you the most out of anybody else's list, it seemed like 80% of the offensive plays there was someone in the backfield as soon as the ball was snapped.. I don't care if you hav Mike Vick and Barry Sanders playing for you, if a defense is consitently getting that kind of pressure, there is no way you are going to get a passing or a running game going.. The one thing I would change is moving the Linebackers above the WRs, the linebackers last year couldn't run Zone coverages, they never got enough depth, I don't know how many time I saw the opposing team's QB throw it over a LB's head for a wide open guy 10 yards behind the LB's.. And I like how you put the kicker last, as someone mentioned earlier in this thread, most big name schools don't have a kicker on scholarship, there is a reason for this, they come a dime a dozen, Sure there are a few "elite" kickers in the game, but the rest are pretty much the same, money from 30 yards and closer, and a roll of the dice from anything further

i've seen fans of high school teams throw tortillas, as well as Texas Tech, and even UCLA.. that "tradition" is not unique what so ever to UNT, but that being said, I think if people enjoy throwing tortillas, let them do it!

Howerton played well, he made his presence known when he was in the game, he does a good job of taking the ball to the basket, and draws alot of fouls, but on the defensive end he seems to have a problem fouling when the other team goes up for a shot.. Mangrum played well, and had a real nice 3 in the first half coming off of a screen. He still looks confused sometimes when the defense applys pressure, but we should see some good things from him in the future. As for Jonathan Jackson, he came in for the last 2 minutes of the game, and didn't do a whole lot, but he is a big guy, and I think we could use his size more when we play teams with better downlow game.. but I think with Quincy Williams, and Keith Wooden playing so well Jackson is going to have trouble seeing alot of minutes
