I remember Graham from high school as a team who would line up in the Pro-set, and run the triple option every play.. Its good to hear they moved into the 21st century...

long live christmas break '06-'07!! -
I look for howerton to maybe test the waters and consider making himself eligable
-
yes it was discussed a few days ago here is the thread
-
I'm sure this has already been discussed because it seemed like half the stadium emptied ( or at least the student section), but i don't feel like digging thru the topics.. So why did so many people leave at halftime?? is it because they had already gotten a free t-shirt?

Eagles / Saints Nfl Game
Keith7 replied to Keith7's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
sorry , have been and will be an Eagles fan for life, I just hate that those calls played such a big part in the game.. whatever happened to letting the kids play? -
I couldnt tell u what happened to Kolby Kuykendall, I havn't seen him since he graduated.. he might be playing soccer somewhere, he was an extremely good defender.. lets see, as for those basketball teams that went to state, I know Chauncie Purvey and Kyle Searcy went to play at Grayson County Junior college, but left the team for one reason or the other (dont' know and I dont want to start rumors) Gainesville currently has alot of former players playing college ball, here is a list of a few L.J. Searcy - DB - Texas A&M Commerce Lance Bryan - DB - Hardin Simmons Dezmond Sherred - DB - Midwestern State Greg Mack - DB - Bethany college Jerome Hewitt - WR - Southeastern Oklahoma State Brandon "BeBe" Mills - DB - Southeastern Oklahoma State Matt Compton - OL - University of Central Oklahoma Chris Brown - DB - Iowa State Darcell McBath - DB - Texas Tech Myron Newberry - DB - Hawaii (Graduated from Denton but grew up in Gainesville until High school I'm sure there are a few more I missed, these are just the few that came to mind Also while following a link posted on another thread on gmg.com about former UNT player Chris Davis playing proball, I noticed a name i recognized.. check it out Click here

Eagles / Saints Nfl Game
Keith7 replied to Keith7's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
a few time actually.. the biggest one came in the 3rd quarter, the saints were in eagles territory it was 2nd and like 15, brees gets sacked the next play and the refs call a defensive holding call that left even the announcers stunned, saints go on to score a TD after what would have been 3rd and 25.. later in the 4th, it was 4th and 10 and the eagles get the first down, but the refs called a false start when it was clear that the left guard just got a good start.. I could go on, but those 2 plays alone were the killers -
Meager runs a reported 4.48 40 according to his rivals recruiting profile.. Also I believe Tune was originally a running back during his freshman and sophmore seasons at celina, so he knows alittle about running with the football Phillips seemed to be the one who could come up with the big throws during the season tho, I always felt most comfortable last season when phillips was in.. (but thats not really saying much)
-
don't forget that Chase Daniel rushed for 1500 yards his junior and senior seasons under coach dodge as well
-
I hate to tell u this, but the fake NT helmet u have in your avatar is 5 times as big as our current helmet decal
-
I never understood why these players put on other team's decals on their helmets?? does anyone know?
-
I havn't heard of Kolby since he graduated, he was alittle small for his position, but u are right he could lay some people out.. and as for Coach Bomar, I wouldn't be surprised if he stays at Callisburg for alittle while, he lives at Lake Kiowa and enjoys the golf/lake in his backyard, plus Callisburg finally made the playoffs last year why move on now?
-
i think that we should go for something like this
-
don't forget 4570 passing yards to go with 50 Tds his senior year.. we should definently give this guy a look
-
also, while looking for that information I found this article about the Lufkin players, looks like Coach Dodge played a HUGE part in their interest in NT Lufkin trio visiting North Texas Matt Malatesta Rivals.com Football Recruiting An interesting twist of fate is going on at the University of North Texas. New coach Todd Dodge has left a lasting impression on three east Texas teammates during his time at Southlake (Texas) Carroll. "I know our guys have a lot of respect for Coach Dodge after years of playing Southlake," Lufkin coach John Outlaw said. "Penson has a tremendous motor at linebacker, Claybon wants to go somewhere to play quarterback and Ralph wants to go somewhere to play football and baseball." Penson (6-1, 220-pounds) is a all-district selection defensive end, while Claybon threw for more yards than former Panther Reggie McNeal who starred at Texas A&M. Thomas has an opportunity to pursue two sports, but would play defensive back or the slot receiver in football. While the trio is looking at North Texas, four-star wide-out Dez Bryant is looking strongly at LSU, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State. "Dez is getting close with his grades," Outlaw said. "I think he's got a chance."
