Are you forgetting the "fire Johnny Jones" mob that came around last year? thats what I'm talking about.. and my apologies to CMJ, I realize you have been on this board longer than I have so I guess that makes you a better fan.. ... my comment was more targeted at scotty474 than CMJ, but CMJ's quote fit what I was talking about as well.. We have 3 very good wins, but people are still questioning if this team is for real.. it just doesn't make much sense to me lol at calling me out for slamming the football team.. what about the other 90% of the board that has been as well?? I love the football team as much as anyone, just have been frustrated w/ the way we have been closing out games..

I agree.. that attendance is roughly what I would have guessed.. and I'm proud of our students, they came out in full force for a saturday.. now If we could just get some of our DFW alumni and dentonites to show up, we could fill the pit

We would of won by 30 if the refs wouldn't have called ridiculous ticky-tack fouls.. I'm not concerned because the majority of referees would let the teams play a little more then these fools did today

after seeing bennett's defense earlier this year, I don't know how much of an improvement that would be

I will be there and would like everyone to attend, but for some reason UNT fans don't know how to embrace the basketball team.. they would rather show up for a 1-7 football team than see a tournament bound basketball team.. it makes me sick..

i've been to every home basketball game since the beginning of last season.. Despite attendance being low, the atmosphere is always better what I have experienced at the football games.. Fans at the basketball games actually pay attention to the game and don't leave at half time.. I just hope the rest of the students will catch on eventually and the attendance for basketball games will rise slowly.. speaking of which, I have seen no flyers, signs, commercials, or any type of announcement for the Ok. State game Wednesday.. this is the biggest game we have had in a long time at the super pit, why does it seem nobody cares?

I'll be there, but I'm at everygame so I don't know if that will make much difference.. I should have a friend or 2 coming w/ me after the football game

The final ended up being 108-71.. I agree they were very impressive tonight.. The guards we brought in all have very good looking 3-point shots, and should be able to lessen the blow we took by losing Watson and Davis to graduation, that was something I was worried about going into the season.. Howerton actually looked somewhat coordinated tonight, perhaps that was because the people who were guarding him were 6 inches shorter then him.. I liked the intensity we had on defense, Wooden and Williams were tough in the middle.. I was really impressed with Tristan Thompson, he looked very comfortable out there for it being his first Division 1 game.. I also like what I saw in Kedrick Hogans, he is super athletic and should develop into a great player for our team.. Overall I think this will be a really exciting year.. Does anyone know what the deal is w/ Collin Dennis?? I'm looking forward to the game on Saturday, but I can't wait until the Oklahoma State game next Wednesday.. Go Mean Green!! fire Johnny Jones!

this is only an exhibition game, and everyone is allowed in for free.. perhaps no radio is to entice people to come out and see the team

it sounds like some people who weren't getting enough playing time needed an excuse.. sad they had to take this approach.. it makes people take real incidents of racism more lightly

MWC and CUSA both suck.. why don't we just hope for the sunbelt to keep getting better and gain respect that way?? I think that would do more for us than joining another mediocre conference
