  1. Does deloach prefer a 4-3 or a 3-4?? that might have something to do with who Coach Dodge will pick
  2. We have had problems with the zone this season, but it wasn't our offense that was the problem this game it was the rebounding.. look at the stats.. we shot 48% from the field, and held them to only 37%.. but we allowed them to get 26 offensive rebounds.. When you allow a team that many second chances, you will get beat
  3. We need to do a better job of crashing the boards, especially down the stretch.. Like most I didn't see the game, but I did listen to it.. The amount of offensive rebounds Troy was getting was ridiculous.. When you give a team that many 2nd chances, you will get beat.. and thats exactly what happened.. Our big guys need a stern talking to!!!
  4. I was absolutely disgusted with this years defense... At least last year we could somewhat stop the run when we needed to, this year we seemed to have no answer for it.. We didn't play as much zone coverage as we did last season either, but that didn't help much because our dbs got burnt anyways... But I can't put all the blame on the dbs because we hardly ever got any pressure.. I like what Dodge is doing in recruiting by going after quick dbs, I just hope this upcoming season we can pressure the QB to help our corners out a little bit ..
  5. Troy sucked last year, but if I remember correctly they were young.. They gave Western Kentucky a pretty good game so I imagine they are much improved.. I would not be surprised if this game is a close one
  6. got ya.. I thought he was asking why this game was considered an exhibition..
  7. I think that game had to be an exhibition because the Oklahoma Flyers are not a college team so they didn't want a win / loss to count towards their overall record.. The Oklahoma Flyers are a team of former collegiate players including 5 NAIA all americans.. that is just my guess..
  8. barring a kurt warner type ending to his career, I believe Tom Brady will go down as the greatest football player of all time.. (aka the Jordan of football).. He has all the credentials.. And i'm saying this as a Philadelphia Eagles fan, I'm not partial to New England at all
  9. should be a blow out in Western Kentucky's favor, if Troy is anything like they were last year
  10. Pony fans are idiots..
  11. i'll be there w/ my girlfriend
  12. wow all his d-2 success is going to his head... lol at sturns being a pro
  13. "Are you calling me a fat head?? Hello?!? *knock knock*" - Big Ben
  14. Tomlin isn't very good anyways.. I'm glad he changed his mind, clears up another scholarship
  15. Troy Franklin and Coleman Feeley both are rated higher then him while having the same, if not better size then him tho
  16. screw atkinson, he isn't very good anyway.. I hope he has fun riding the bench at UTEP
  17. Hamilton makes our 3rd 3 star recruit, thats the most we have had since 2001 (how far back rivals shows) I like that we are getting some dbs, the quick dbs will help us compete with the bigger more athletic teams
  18. I saw them leaving at halftime.. didn't get a real good look at them
  19. just what we needed!
  20. I think this is what the thread was really supposed to be about ------------------ On March 4, University of California Berkeley (Cal) played a basketball game against the University of Southern California (USC). With Cal in contention for the PAC-10 title and the NCAA tournament at stake, the game was a must-win. Enter "Victoria." Victoria was a hoax UCLA co-ed, created by Cal's Rally Committee. For the previous week, "she" had been chatting with Gabe Pruitt, USC's starting guard, over AOL Instant Messenger. It got serious. Pruitt and several of his teammates made plans to go to Westwood after the game so that they could party with Victoria and her friends. On Saturday, at the game, when Pruitt was introduced in the starting lineup, the chants began: "Victoria, Victoria." One of the fans held up a sign with her phone number. The look on Pruitt's face when he turned to the bench after the first Victoria chant was priceless. The expression was unlike anything ever seen in collegiate or pro sports. Never did a chant by the opposing crowd have such an impact on a visiting player. Pruitt was in total shock. (This is the only picture I could find.) The chant "Victoria" lasted all night. To add to his embarrassment, transcripts of their IM conversations were handed out to the bench before the game: "You look like you have a very fit body." "Now I want to c u so bad." Pruitt ended up a miserable 3-for-13 from the field. (See also here and here.) Security morals? First, this is the cleverest social engineering attack I've read about in a long time. Second, authentication is hard in little text windows -- but it's no less important. (Although even if this were a real co-ed recruited for the ruse, authentication wouldn't have helped.) And third, you can hoodwink college basketball players if you get them thinking with their hormones.
  21. I thought the UCLA student section did this to a USC player a couple of years ago?? and they would chant his phone number
  22. tebow.. simply amazing, and best all around player of the bunch..
  23. he did score alot, and he was a great spark off the bench, I can't deny that.. but his sloppy play and poor shot selection could be the blame for a couple of losses last season, including the Memphis game..
  24. lol at calling sturns consistant
