I DVR'd it and watched the last five minutes of the game. Thompson drove to the basket a couple of times and looked really good. He came down awkwardly on one layup but stayed in the game and hit a nice runner moments later. The announcers mentioned UNT and the Sun Belt. It was good pub for the Mean Green and it was great to see Thompson play college ball one last time.

Agreed. Comments like "it's refreshing having at staff that knows what their doing", "we finally look like a Division 1 football team", and "UNT is finally one of the big boys" seem a little premature. We haven't done anything yet, maybe we should slow down a bit. Heck just a few months ago people were pissed off by the hire.

I like coach McCarney and I hope nothing but the best for our football team, but jeez all this butt kissing really is sickening.
