The hand-wringing over Michael Vick and giving him a second chance to make millions just because he can throw a football is an indictment of what professions we value in society. If this kid poured concrete or painted houses, nobody would give a crap that he actually had to go serve time for his abuse of animals.

I heard a 911 call this morning, a woman in Virginia called bawling her eyes out because she was scared. The operator had to explain that if she didn't have an injury or emergency that she was going to have to hang up.

Yeah, I have begged the students to stop that crap. it did kind of die down as the season progressed and I countered it by screaming "Mean Green Eagles" over them.

On Facebook I saw a lot of students complain that they had to either walk or drive over to the stadium. Just another one of those things that would be fixed by winning.
